「キーは半音変わるだけでも曲のイメージががらりと変わってしまうので、いつもキーは慎重にきめるのですが 、今回はそのキーによってイメージが全く変わるということを逆に生かして、アレンジもほぼ一緒なのに全く違 う2曲を作りました。
今年10年目を迎えるにあたり考えているのが、ヴォーカリストとして挑戦し続けていきたい、ということ。こ の2曲は歌い方も全く違うし、キーが4 音も違うからレコーディングやライブは大変ですが、それでもキーや歌い方が違うだけで、こんなにも音楽って 変わるんだ、ということを表現できたらと思います。

そして今回歌詞は、「Fishbowl=金魚鉢」を軸に、その中で自由に楽しんでいる「Ins ide Fishbowl」と、その中から抜け出して自由になってやる！という「Outside Fishbowl」と対になってます。

伝えたかったのはそのどちらも正解だっていうこと。
人生でも、同じ境遇でもそれをどう受け止めるかにはたくさんの選択肢があると思います。その状況の中で楽し む「Inside」も正解、その状況から抜け出そうと努力する「Outside」も正解。自分自身いつも感 じている「人生は本当に自分次第」だって気持ちを、この2曲に込めました。」

●全曲解説＆エピソード
●Inside Fishbowl
キーが高い方。歌詞の内容は、金魚鉢に例えた現状の生活の中で幸せイッパイに自由に暮らす女の子の気持ちを 歌った楽曲。
●Outside Fishbowl
キーが低い方。歌詞の内容は、金魚鉢に例えた退屈な暮らしにうんざりして抜け出してやるという反骨精神あふ れる強さを持った楽曲。
●Lollipop
オトコの挑発や誘惑を跳ね返すようなタフな女性の気持ちをクールに歌った楽曲。本格的なR&B/Hip Hopチューン。
●For you
素直な女の子の気持ちを綴った、心暖まるラブソング。
●Got To Be Real
ディスコ・クラシックの名曲をカバー！ペプシネックスTV-CMタイアップソング。

キー合わせを行っていたところ、倖田來未自身からの提案で低いキーものと高いキーものを歌ってみたらどうだ ろう？ということで、仮レコーディングをおこなったところ、2曲のあまりの違いにスタッフ一同驚き、どちら も甲乙付けがたいとなりました。
仮の段階でもキーが高い方は女性としての明るい可愛らしさが全面に、低い方は激しい強さが全面に出て、まさ に同じ曲、更には同じ歌い手とは思えないほど。
　倖田本人からも全く違う世界観が表現できるなら、あえてアレンジは同じのまま、歌詞をそれぞれ書いて作ろ うという意見がでたため、2曲を制作することになりました。
　
2006年に「夢のうた」と「ふたりで・・・」で同じメロディーでアレンジと歌詞違いの曲を制作したことは ありましたが、キーが違うことだけで印象がここまで変わること、そしてそれを歌いこなす倖田來未のボーカリ ストとしての表現力にスタッフも驚いています。

So the other track list was fake? According to that, two of the songs, "Inside Fishbowl" and "Outside Fishbowl" have the same melody, tempo, and arrangement, but the key and the lyrics are different.

Ew. Wait. Those covers are fake, yes? Since it was confirmed the other ones were right, from the concert? And because it's officially not going to be called Gossip Candy? (Or is it? Just without a title track?) 'Cause those covers are awful, lol. They look so cheap. I will be soooo sad if those are real. ......I'm confused.

The 'fishbowl' titles are ridiculous, lol. (Anybody else get an Ai Otsuka vibe from all that? XD She's the only one who can pull off titles like that! ) She also just did the same melody thing not too long ago. This is just more proof of how lazy they've become with Kuu. :\ But~, we'll see. I'm just hoping that even though this is another dance track, she'll mix it up a bit this time, instead of giving us TABOO Pt. XVIIII. (<--- Okay, slightly exaggerated......kinda. >_>)

I'm not disappointed at all, like some of you might be. I actually like the covers, & yeah, the song titles were not ones I was expecting, but if the songs sound good, I don't care.

I think "fishbowl" has something to do with Gossip, cause Lollipop is the Candy in the single title!
Maybe a different few for Gossip like from the inside when everyones talkin' about u and from the outside when your talking about it, BUT don't really now the truth!?

I love the covers!! And the tracklist sounds cool to me. I hope we get some other first press bonus stuff, like the Maroc stuff from 4 hot wave! Then I am totally going to be getting this.

Oh, speaking of 4 hot wave First Press edition, does anyone know where I can get it? I really want this single. And I'm so stupid I was in Japan at the time it was released and didn't buy it.

All has been good already, but real news about single are going to ruin my happy mood.

Ayu wasn't the first artist with 2 songs with the same melody, but when I'm imagining people who will compare Kuu's single to Ayu, bash her and call copycat, I gets veeery sad.

I don't care for titles, number of songs and MVs anymore - I learned that quality is a waaaay more important that number. Covers are trashy and bad looking, unfortunately. I wonder what happened with versions showed in the concert.
