Did anyone ever translate the lyrics we can hear from the crossroad preview?

I pray we don't get a song like Life/Red Line/My All in either single. And as much as I love her ballads from the past, I don't want heaven part 2, hanabi episode 3, or "marionette with a hint of moon and last links". I don't want it to sound like any ballad she's done before. All I really hope though is that we don't get no way to say/days/momentum/moon part 2.

^ Hmm, she has so many ballads that I think it'd be difficult for one to not sound at least a little bit like another one. I think crossroad will sound different than most of her ballads lately though since it's by TK and she only has one other song by him in her discography.

Meh, it's good that she's not like that anymore (for her own sake), but the results of it was beautiful.

You and me both. My biggest fear is that the main song on L is gonna be like one of those "Yes! We can do it together!" songs like Red Line or My All.


Hmm, I think I might actually buy L (and I never buy CDs because I have no use for them.), but I wish they would announce the tracklisting so I know which version I want.

Yes! I personally dislike all 3 songs, and I would hate to hear another one like that. The ending credits. "let's sing one more time! together! everybody!" type of songs that's kind of in a "swing" melody and is very guitar heavy, and has no other place on an album other than the very last song. Reason I said that is because I thought everyone else loved those songs. I just have a horrible feeling that we're not done with those songs yet.

^^Me neither. I can get the MY ALL/Red Line connection but the Life comparison is baffling me. Life sounds more like a "It was" type of song imo.

They all have that over all same feeling as I mentioned earlier. The whole "guitar heavy, last song on the album, "let's do it together everyone we're almost done!"" type of feel. I could probably whip up an audio mix comparing them showing what I mean. Life is a bit slower and not as powerful as the other two, but it still has that same-ness to it. I need a better word to describe it. ._.

I think what every Ayu fan wants is...

I pray we don't get a song like -insert songs that fan does not like- in the single(s)/album. And as much as I love her -insert genre here- from the past, I don't want -insert examples of genre here-. I don't want it to sound like any -genre of song- she's done before. All I really hope though is that we don't get -song titles that fan does not like- part 2.

Lol you're right! But whenever I say something like that, and we end up getting it, I end up hating it. haha

Ok. Here I played the intros to the three songs "life/red line/my all" that I think sound very similar. Usualy "imo" the intro of a songs sets the mood for the rest of the song and basically lets you know what the entire song will sound like. I didn't feel like throwing 3 full songs back to back, so I just played the intros. You can not honestly tell me these 3 songs sound nothing alike. If they were all put on one album, I bet there would be plenty of people complaining about how they are so similar. No they do not sound exactly alike, but you can pretty much figure out the over all feel of all 3 songs.

Personally, I hope they are all so damn good that when I have a few minutes to listen to something on my iPod or in my car, I find it difficult to decide exactly which song I would like to listen to!

And often she brings something different with them. She's good with them. And many jpop artists either don't try or can't pull it off. So I really hope for another one
Plus they can bring awesome dark or sometimes encouraging lyrics

I'm a sucker for her rock songs. And the past three singles not so much rock exactly. So I hope for one on either of these

Well, i've said it like a hundred times, but I LOVE AYU'S ROCK. it's one of the main reasons im a huge fan of her. i'm always looking forward for her rock releases.

You might say "why don't you listen a rock band instead?" well... i already listen to rock/trash/metal bands. However, Ayu's rock is very special. No matter how hard might be her releases, she always puts her own touch in these songs, and even if the sound is dark or hard, it manages to be still feminine and pretty. usually rock songs are associated with big guys with long hair that are screaming and growling and having these aggresive/angry songs. if you look at the surface you might think she doesn't fit this idea. but when she sings songs like these it's like she's saying "i'm small and pretty and cute, but i can be hard and strong and aggresive too" usually these concepts are separated and are not supposed to be "mixed" but i think she challenges these (ridiculous) clichés when she releases a rock song... and that's something i truly love.

Some of ayu's ballads are among my favourites of all time, but with all due respect i think she made too much of them for rnrc. like Picaflor stated before, she already did six in her last cd and honestly i seldom enjoyed them also, her last singe was made of ballads and it seems crossroad is gonna be a ballad too. honestly some novelty in L would be more than welcomed. ( i have a feeling that this single is gonna be awesome though... )

Before i talk about L i want to focus about croosroad. crossroad sounds to me, from what i've heard from teh preview, that it is an mid tempo songs. not extremely emotional, but just normal. I hope the other songs will be an rock/ballad song. i want the chorussen to be rock, and darky. And the other parts, slowly and emotional liek an ballad.
