LOL I've seen these a while ago and really it doesn't look like Ayu at all...that front picture is such a dissaster... the face especially the eyes are such a fail...lol

It definitely has to do with the requirements of measurements and photos from several different angles.

The ones that always come out amazing are when the people do those things... Just look at Gwen Stefani's. AMAZING.

Whoaaaaah @ the Gwen Stefani figure. I had to look at one of the other photos before I realized the one I thought was the fake was actually her!

The Ayu statue doesn't even look like a real person. Maybe after L there will be time in the future for a do-over. Ayu participated by giving them the dress, so they obviously had her consent. They can at least get close to mimicking her real beauty (hey, nothing like the real McCoy, in Ayu's case!)

I visited NYC's Madame Tussauds last summer and I have to say that all the wax figures were pretty good! I guess the person who made Ayu's figure was drunk or something like that because it doesn't resemble her at all

Her nose is too large, her eyes are too close together, and they need to be rotated outward a tad bit so it looks more oriental. the overall head shape is wrong too.

I saw that a while ago... but wth, I don't remember Ayu's wax figure being THAT bad

This wax figure looks nothing like the one on the official site >_<

Also.. I've been to the Madame Tussauds from London and I was actually impressed by the figures being that real so when I found out that Ayu has a Madame Tussauds wax figure I was really excited to see it but *boom!* it wasn't what I expected ._.
