you mean... 3000 yen just for the shipping cost? wow.. That's very expensive. But yeah the shipping cost dropped quite a bit. My 2nd order from cdjapan was back in 2005 (ayu's (m)u), and the shipping cost (EMS) was like 1800 yen back then. Now it's only 1200 yen for EMS .

Ahh I dunno.. probly I should change my shipping method to FedEx. Do you guys think cdjapan can still ship the cd in normal time during x'mas??

^^Yes, I'd change to FedEx. My orders always arrive on release date, or the day before, which is CRAZY. I've never been able to get that

So I wake up in the morning, and saw that the cds are listed. I was happily ordering at cdjapan when suddenly there's no electricity!!!! Damm block maintence! Why today!

I was quite pissed till I remember I still have my blackberry!!! So I finally place my USD order! I"l get the physical cd at TA shop when the link is out.

If I order that version, I have no use for it. If I order the CD+DVD, then I get NO PB...either way, I'm screwed on this.

Yeah I believe FedEx should be much faster. Last time I ordered Angela Aki's cd for my bro and I used EMS. It came to Canada on Monday (a day before the actual release), but it was held at custom for like a week. So I wanna change to FedEx this time, and I just figure out that it only costs me $3 extra for the shipping. The point is I'm kinda worried that the x'mas deliveries will slow down the process... Or FedEx is not affected by that?

^^Not typically. I worked for a company that used FedEx to deliver meds to patients, and the only time delivery is really affected is if there is a big snow storm or something.

Don't go FEDEX. I tried them and it's as reliable as EMS, maybe a tad faster but I did get charged customs and handling fees. I live in the U.S so I don't know how it is in Canada, but the shipping price you see in CDJ does not reflect the full amount you will be paying. Got an 11 dollar bill in the mail from FEDEX and I wasn't too thrilled.

They put the weight for the CD+DVD at 200g. So that does give a little wiggle room.

It will probably be housed in a jewel case just like the CD+DVD so we should be fine!

Or u could just pay with paypal, I remember for RnR box set, the shippiing went much higher, and people have to pay extrra. But for hose who paid with paypal, they did not had to, as their payment were collected earlierm

I live in PA (not far from you obviously), and I've never gotten customs charges with FedEx ... not sure why you did.

Usually CDJ will mark my packages as 'gift'

I doubt that a microSD+USB is gonna add too much weight. I don't think this situation will end up like the last set that had a ceramic mug included, haha.

The file format of the audio and video is meant to be played on Japanese phones. Though you can put the microSD into your phone or computer, you might not be able to read the filetypes.

However, the USB has extremely high quality versions of the songs and the DVD has all of the videos so it's your choice. You get two copies of everything in different formats.

i've tweeted cdj and they said its only compatible for japanese mobile phone

At this point, it works only on some of the mobile phones, namely from docomo, softbank, and KDDI.
In Japan, digital TV broadcast for mobiles called "1 seg" began a few years ago. So, mobiles equipped with TV became popular.
Then, I think it was last year, but record companies began releasing microSDs specifically intended to be viewed on those TVs.

Maybe YA haven't been allocated stock yet. Remember with the RRC box set they got some, then sold out only to get them back in stock again for a short while later on? >_< I think I'd rather just get it from CDJ unless it's a lot cheaper than $115 AUD, which is what I got charged after I input a discount and used points at CDJ...

I don't get how they do it, but it's probably region coded like DVDs? I'm grasping at straws here, really, I have no clue.
