will jpop lose against kpop in its own country?

^^ urgh I agree with the last part .. I just find myself cringing at all these groups popping up out of nowhere everyday .. Most of them have terrible songs and concept that are trying to copy what ever is popular at the moment .. Of course there are good groups with awesome songs and talented members from time to time but for each talented and original group, there are like 5 horrible ones =\
It just irks me to see all these companies putting a bunch of young people together and calling them idols to make quick money.

Different people, different tastes. Simple as that.

All these K-pop groups, Johnny's groups, and also AKB48 are honestly selling based solely on appearance.

Not all Kpop idols, JE idols, and AKB girls are zomgsogorgeous, and not all their fans like them and buy their CDs because they look nice on the covers, js.
The main reason why I like AKB48 right now is because I think their songs are awesome, so sorry I guess I'm doing it wrong
