I really think that somehow she's just trying way too hard to impress and do things creatively, and they come up as tacky nowadays.
Funny how she says she studied fame and the consequences of it, or all that crap she said about it, and I think that's cool, I liked how she put being a pop star across, but she condemned herself from the very start of her stardom. She did everything so quickly, and her peak was awesome, and it left or it is leaving a strong trail still, but her career to me seems short-lived. She just bit off too much and I don't think she's gonna be able to chew it all lol When she was here in Australia in July, she did a one-night concert and, she seemed stressed, her vocals were strained and she had trouble hitting the right notes sometimes. Totally different to when she came here the first 2 times. ANYWAY THAT'S MY ESSAY ABOUT HER  Oh wait, the covers lol Tacky, fugly, boring, and she looks like Robert De Niro (If it's that what she was trying to achieve, good on her lol). Maybe I'm in the minority but I don't really think Gaga is that creative. I try not to pay attention to her image and music is basically derived forms of pop music from 80's til now. Not that it's bad, I enjoy her music, but I'm pretty unimpressed with her on a creative stand-point. I didn't always feel this way but whatever
 as long as the music is good, I'm good.

^ To be honest, I like Gaga because she has such a good singing voice, and she isn't afraid to just do what she wants to do. She genuinely really doesn't care sometimes, and I think in an industry where everything was becoming kind of..well, predictable, she was exactly what we needed.
Of course, now even her "outrageous" outfits etc are becoming predictable, but that's natural.Whether she's creative or not..I don't know. She's good at the fame game, she has a good voice and damn she works hard at her career. It's good enough for me. |
