Personally, I would say Secret but I think that's only because it was the latest album she had out when I became a fan so it was the first I listened to. There's no song on the album I would skip.

However I think I Am... has some of her best work on it and a whole bunch composed by CREA. Most of her most recognisable songs are on the album, such as evolution, Dearest and M.

I'd have to say RAINBOW would be her masterpiece song-wise. Both the PV and the song are really beautiful.

Love songs = I am...
So hard to choose
I am still listening to LS as if its a new album
I have listened to the title track Love song >1000 times, and it is still like a new song. For me it's modern day ASFXX. I can't.

I agree, I am... Had the most memorable singles, plus theres plenty of CREA songs. Not to mention that the singles from this album had the most sales (if I'm correct in thinking that)

In terms of personal opinion:
Best album: GUILTY for the most sad ballads (fated, together when... Untitled ~for her~), plus Talkin 2 myself felt really fresh. The lyrics was also very meaningful. This was also when Ayu announced that she lost her friend and the heating in her left ear, so the overall 'sadness' during this album stands out for me. I guess Glitter was the only lighthearted song. If someone asked me which of Ayu's album would most stand out, it's definitely this one.

Best concert: I haven't seen AT11 POM, so I'm going to say that AT10 RnRC had the most amazing flow, and Ayu's vocals were good throughout. The lighting, affects, and overall performance really makes this concert stand out. Although, probably A Museum would be the most representing of Ayu's concerts.

I'm sure most fans would say I am..., but I think that album is insanely overrated. Her "magnum opus" would have to be either LOVEppears or Duty for me. Both are damn near perfect and no album since has even come close. After those, I'd say her next best is maybe (miss)understood, but some ****** album tracks bring that far below either of the other two.

It's not my favorite album...but...it was the golden age of her music quality and her popularity, and it kinda always will be :/

I am...

There isn't one song on that album that I think is less then amazing.

In terms of the general fan viewpoint; it's usually Duty or I am...

Personally, My Story is her magnum opus. Nothing comes close to it. Lyrics, sound, cohesion, flow, voice, emotion. I'm usually alone in this opinion.

But if we're talking about what her magnum opus is in the context of her sound, legacy, and image, then it's I am. It's the culmination of the albums that came before and the blueprint for all that followed.

^I also love MY STORY, for all of the reasons Uemarasan listed.

I agree with the comments about I am... being her magnum opus.

I think this pretty much sums it up for me.

The first album I heard in its entirety is Love Songs. In my opinion, that's her best album... though there are still a couple of albums I haven't listened to entirely yet. I think every song in that album is worthy of being a single and they all come together very smoothly. The instrumentals are some of the best that I've heard from ayu's albums.
