I loved CDL and it was so much fun watching with everybody else. The stage was absolutely amazing and Ayu was beyond perfect for me.

ustream.tv is a website that allows you to watch concerts. You had to buy a ticket and then you could watch the concert live on the website.

And trust me, happening here is MUCH better live than on the studio version

I really like that concert.. and her voice was really good. I love the two new songs a lot!

I remembered in 2010, there were some rumors Ayu and her staff were watching some Las Vegas shows and being inspired to do that in some show... Maybe it was that!

IIRC, it was late 2009 (September ish) that they went to Vegas looking for inspiration? The result was AT10, I think? The dancers that choreograph dances tagged along with her as well.

Hm, don't know how I feel about Party Queen.
Guess I need a proper studio recording.
But so far it doesn't click with me, it so repetetive...and the chorus so dull, not only the lyrics, for Ayu.
Love her costume and the stage lights though, so colorful!
Those Love stands were used by Namie already and better incoporated in the performance then there. They could have left them out.

The 'interludes' are likely just Yuta-composed pieces of music that were made for the concert a la snow field, RIMBAUD, solitude, memories, and so on.

No, it was on the TV broadcast, the camera was right on her mouth when she lipped the wrong word. It happened for theme of a-nation at CDL0506, too.
And it's not the first time Ayumi lipped, she used to do it in almost every concert for a few songs(hell she even used the same playback for evolution MANY times), she stopped after AT09 as far as I know. Most of her fans think she is perfection and deny it though, but I can fully understand why she would lip a few songs every now and then considering her ear-situation so I dont think it should be as much of a taboo as it is.
PCDL is probably the concert with most playback, noone is sure how much exactly but probably around half of the concert.

Wow really? The PCDL? Dayum that saddens me.

I know it's not the first time she lipped. The *entire* Stadium Tour was lipped, too, I heard. And she used to slipped lip-synched songs among the live ones (like M in CDL 0405, HAPPY ENDING in AT05, alterna in AT06 etc.) and, yes, I think she used the same recording for talkin' 2 myself in the last few days of AT08, as well.

Yeah, I really like the center stage as well, cause the big advantage is - Ayu is in the center!!
Even with band and her overused dancers you're mostly having her being in the spotlight. Also the stage going round and up and down like that looks nice for me.

Downloading the whole CDL 2011-2012 right now, but the stage set up looks nice as well.
I'm curious if I'll enjoy this years CDl as much as last years.

She only lipped a handful songs in Stadium Tour(like UNITE!), the biggest part of it was live.
M in CDL0405 was probably lipped, we don't know for sure about that one, HAPPY ENDING at AT05 was NOT lipped, the very last line is playback and the rest was live and alterna at AT06 may or may not be playback, only people that attended the tour can tell and even they are confused it seems.

I really like Party Queen and how beautiful you are . Party Queen sounds quite different from her usual songs and people were right it sounds like a happy version of Sparkle.
how beautiful you are it's flawless . I love how it sounds simple but powerful as well. And I loved the background vocals by Timmy.

Anyway the stage doesn't look so cheap for me D: everything looks so colorful. But yeah, I watched just two videos of the whole CDL lol.

So I dunno if me who has just seen the Ustream rip and the people who went to see the show actually saw the same thing. I mean, even for a CDL this is pretty damn good. Yes it looked quite cheap, but it's a CDL and after seeing each and every CDL you know what to expect ^^ Her vocals were really good throughout the whole show with ups and downs. I'd say I was pleasantly surprised by NEVER EVER, sending mail, Love song, how beautiful you are and November. She did quite well and that's the most important thing. Yes the dancers were over-used, some of the performances made little sense and looked quite dumb, but over-all the whole show works well as a whole and it's prolly just a demo version of the tour It's nothing alarming...and after SunshineSlayer's and HilaryDuffFan's posts I was completely freaked out ^^ Jeez people, compared to do it again or 2002-2003, 2007-2008 this one is pure gold.
