S.O.P.A. Law and Ayu Download´s future

I was thinking if this law approves, we won´t be able to download ayu music or videos anymore. I mean I understand all this from the perspective of the music industry, but in my case I always download the album to listen it to decide if buy it or not. Well in ayu´s case as a fan I buy all her albums anyways, but for other artists i have to know if I liked or not...

Megaupload is already down, and maybe this is just the beginning so, what will be the future of the forum with the downloads and images?

I agree with Pieces of SEVEN. Let's not think about this yet. I really doubt that they will be successful anyways. All those hackers are currently trolling around, which is a good thing because I don't support the whole SOPA thing.

It's not a problem for me, I stored every song ayu released (EVERYTHING) on my Harddisk, just in case. I am planning on buying her future releases psychically, so thats also not a big deal to me.

it would effect everyone who is visiting the page they shut down, like MU

I have heared that the guys running MU aren't lokated in the USA, they are lokated in hong kong...so they took the page down just because they had a few servers in the USA but the main part of their servers were in hong kong (if I'm not wrong)

But, does it mean anything when you are downloading Asian media from North America?

The US government doesn't care about things it can't make money off of. So all Asian music downloads would be safe.

It's still very scary though...I use the internet for discovery and I wouldn't be able to anymore. Especially for Ayu stuff. XD I know SOPA is dead...but it doesn't mean the war is over.

Even tho the bills Sopa and Pipa were shelved, doesn't mean were in the clear yet cause people can still make bills similar (I'm not to be a Debby Downer or being negative)
