eh UNLOCKED is not as bad as I thought it might be :O there're a couple of album tracks that I loved the previews & turns out that the full versions from these previews sound great !

LAST CODE is definitely a nod to UNLOCKED that's for sure ;D

actually watching the live now, and towards the middle they start chopping every performance that actually made it on the disc to a minute and a half or a little bit over.

damn, when are they going to get better at editing her lives and not cutting so much, especially by making it so obvious.

what a disappointment, I should stop buying her lives all together, they're not worth it.

I will keep buying this because I'm a fan and I feel like supporting her but, to be honest, this tour... sucks. ATTITUDE one was much better in every single way. Even in the vocals.

So, I gave UNLOCKED chance, I was never crazy about Meisa 'cause her tracks sounded the same to me, lots of autotune and lack of creativity but I actually liked UNLOCKED, its a solid album. Happy to be me is the best track for me in the album, and I also liked LAST CODE, PARADE, Woman's worth and Shake it off.

I received UNLOCKED today from HMV Japan ^___^



And I did scans of Kuroki which's included in the booklet which I must add , the CD + DVD case that was used is much thicker than the normal CD + DVD's that I have which I suspect it's to house the booklet but anyway :O

1st of all , back & insert covers

I understand that the pics included for both CD + DVD's differs & since I only bought A , it will be good if someone were to scan/add on which're the photos only the B edition had

+1. I feel exactly the same way as you do. Although I don't really care for her previous work, I really like UNLOCKED and feel that it is a solid album just as you said. I personally think this is her best album. Ever since the download link was posted, I've been listening to it non-stop trying to decide if I should buy it or not. While I do like this album, I don't love it and I just don't feel like it's worth it to spend about $50 on an album that I don't love. I ended up cancelling my order. I'll probably buy it at a later time if I can find it for cheaper one day. Great job Meisa!

I liked Meisa with the release of hellcat. I still only just liked her with SHOCK. I LOVED her when ATTITUDE was released. 5-FIVE- was a bit meh. LOL! made me excited for MAGAZINE. I was excited for MAGAZINE. I was let down. I was like, meh, with One More Drama, my interest reached ATTITUDE heights with Wired Life, and my excitement was further added with Woman's Worth / Breeze Out. I LOVE UNLOCKED. Much better than MAGAZINE, up to ATTITUDE standards in my opinion.

Kudos to her. UNLOCKED was a fantastic album, and she got married to Jin Akanishi at JUST the right time. She is clever.

She frankly can wear a rubbish bag & you still can say she looks great

She doesn't & obviously have the best voice around but with top notch people that she has gotten to work on her stuff (such as U-Key zone & Momo "mocha"N) , she knows what works & doesn't work for her

Just listened to the album and I didn't enjoy any more or less than 'MAGAZINE' in my humble opinion. Overall, the album was good.

I hope she keeps in contact with her music team during the next few years so she always remembers why she made music in the first place and that what they created together sounded good.

I also thought the scandal would increase sales. With AKB48's Beginner MV scandal, and Sayaka's dating scandal, Beginner became AKB's first million selling single. I thought that more people would buy it as she is pregnant, but whatever. Japanese people are weird.

As soon as an artist get's pregnant/married their sales usually drop... It has the opposite effect, doesn't increase their sales at all. Examples, Namie Amuro super decrease in sales when she got pregnant, Hitomi, no one cares about her anymore, Ai Otsuka, sales plummeted as well.

Not gunna like I think the album deserves to sell low, it really is just mediocre, nothing compared to Magazine

UNLOCKED is a pretty nice album, but I think I like MAGAZINE better. The songs were catchier, imo.
My favorite tracks so far are Happy to be Me, Shake it Off and Take Me Away.
