Special Finals are always awesome. I hope she will have something new there. I really loved the special final for Black Cherry Tour. It was epic as hell. I don't know how different it was compared to its previous performances because I wasn't following her as much as I have done since 2008 but Special Finals always makes me wonder what kind of specialities Kuu will bring. Or if the last concerts will be taken outside on a stadium or maybe she'll just use a Dome. :3 I wouldn't mind another stadium live though! 8D

Personally I think Kuu singing ballads is the best thing in the world. Her voice makes ballads enjoyable. And when she sings those live, it makes them even better imo. Hell, her ballads Promise and you where actually the ones that brought me to her in the first place. If I hadn't heard them, I wouldn't be her fan at all♥

I wonder what that a-nation would entail. It seems like a pre-show of the usual stadium ones of sorts, plus it's indoors (Yoyogi arena). I'm pretty sure that she would attend the usual stadium fes but I'm really curious what this 'pre-show' would be like. And it seems like there are only gonna be 4 dates for the stadium shows? This is the first year that it's like this right? I don't really remember last year's to be like that.

She's made for ballads. I'm still waiting for Avex to realize she NEEDS to do an acoustic album, 'cause her voice is a gift from Heavens. My point is, they tend to give her plain, generic ballads where her voice is the only redeeming thing. Well, alway in my opinion of course!XD You can tell the difference, when she's given the right arrangement (for example, the acoustic versions of You are not alone -for me is so thousand times better than the single one!)

^Kuu would do a classical album very well! 'Alive' and 'Ashita E' are very classical and she sung them beautifully.

I'm still hoping for a mini rock album/cover album. She does rock so well.

I agree that her ballads are generic. She does release great ones, but the last few she's released have been forgettable. I don't mind them live, like Moon Crying, because she can really show off her vocals, but studio versions bore me.

This so much. Her problem is the boring generic ballads and arrangements. Look at the majority of her album ballads - amazing. Her voice really is divine in ballads.
I'm still waiting for her to cover some epic Ayu ballads like HEAVEN and Dearest

This ad promotes the last 4 lives in June as a special final - 06/21 and 22, 06/29 and 30. Which are sold out, just like the rest of the tour.
But I'm pretty sure those dates are like any other concert. Just at the last Yokohama date we know Mr.Blistah will be there.
Like kalid said, the last dates of Dejavu tour were promoted as special final as well and they weren't different.

I agree her recent ballads, single or non single are kinda boring or dull. I remember the day I sing you and Yume no Uta a lot xD I love Anata dake ga better than Ai wo Tomenaide

Oh yeah, does she still do that concert ending gimmick that will hint how the next tour will start? The last thing I remember was Kingdom tour that continues to TRICK tour lmao that was so long ago xD

Kuu tends to chose the ballads herself, I don't think Avex chooses them for her. But her style does seem to be generic love songs, especially recently. She has some awesome B side ballads, though! But I would love for Kuu to do some EPIC ballads like Utada/Ayu style cause she so has the voice and passion for it!

Kuu is my #1 artist, but unfortunately for ballads, I listen to her ballads the least compared to other artists. Utada and Ayu are my preferred favs for ballads, then Namie Amuro, then Kuu. But Kuu and Namie are my tops for R n'B/hip-hop. Then Kuu and Ayu are my tops for rock songs!

Not sure if this has been posted before, but was looking for a picture of Kuu on Google and found this. I haven't seen this one before, she looks beautiful (even with goldfish face )

I don't know what it is but even though she has a great voice for ballads, I feel that she isn't always able to convey emotion when she sings them. Maybe its the arrangement but I think she needs more ballads like 1000 no kotoba, Hands, Moon and Suki de cause she sounds fantastic in them.

I think it's just her, that she likes those generic love ballads. Sometimes I feel that's her like ~Japanese Romantic Vanilla~ girl side coming out. Like it reminds me of that time she talked about how people always think she's out partying and stuff, but she doesn't drink or anything, and she just stays home and watches sappy dramas.
