I just got probably my last ayu order for awhile (I am going broke, lol)... so I finally put my collection together and took photos of it.

^ It's so awesome to see your collection! Your collection is one of those that I envy the most. It looks awesome. I didn't know you collected OS press of her releases too. For some reason I thought you were a Japan press purist.

OH goodness no. I couldn't afford to be a purist for the LONGEST time - my mom wasn't the type to spoil me with enough money for that, and then I was literally in poverty in the early years of my adulthood, after having my daughter. Most of my collection was either an OS press, or purchased used. Or both.

Now i have my career happening and I (just barely) have enough money to buy ayu's CDs new, usually getting the TeamAyu bonuses with them whenever possible. Even now, though, I buy used CDs to fill in gaps in my collection - old habits die hard, I guess

The collector in me actually really likes having OS versions of things, so I can really compare tiny differences. I have some OS ayu-mi-x II cds and some JP press, and yeah the paper is different, the printing is different. So I think that's really interesting

I have that M limited edition, omg I love it SO MUCH. It's in a frame... I still need to put it up in my new apartment. Still haven't hung up any posters or records yet!

I do wish more of my CDs had their obis like that though, omg! It's so neat and tidy and pretty XD!! I've finally gotten around to replacing jewel cases that were cracked, at least. XD

I don't have a good enough sound system or turntable that my records sound good analog... so far I've only been able to afford getting a USB turntable. The needle doesn't have very good stereo tracking so only REALLY well-pressed records sound good on it (Like the M EP)... and mono records like Kyu Sakamoto's Sukiyaki album sound great too. I mostly only have vinyls whose remixes never got mp3 format before I ripped them myself - so I don't have many yet!

yeah' it's a beauty ^^
but it only contains 2 insturmental remixes of M... sadly

near end of this year i'll get all 10 Vinyl from ayu-mi-x 6 Series...
idk if i have to put them on my ayu shelf or to hang them on my wall lol

yeah' i thought about this too... but they're so f**kin' expensive...

i'll pay 500€ for them and 500€ for both Party Queen and the Rock 'n' Roll Circus Box Sets ^^
than 130€ for ayu-mi-x 7 Box and at least 100€ for both LOVEagain Limited Versions

that's a lot of money this year...

I envy your display style *_* I can´t display all my Ayu stuff like that, most of my stuff is in my cabinet >> I only have my 2 huge boxes (PQ + RnRC) on my shelve and my class cabinet to display some "important" and "nice" stuff

I feel your pain! One of the things I was looking for when getting my current apartment was LOTS OF SPACE to display my ayu stuff XD

I initially got a bookshelf for my office area in the living room, but I had too many things and that solution wasn't good enough O___O!! Luckily I have this one awkward wall in my bedroom that I couldn't figure out what else to do with (a dresser in that location would have jutted out into the room too much). So I got those shelves from Ikea and it solved my problem.

But yeah, the last place I lived, I had to restrict my collection to the only bookshelf I owned... it was NOT enough space at all.

today i checked: I've got both BLUE BIRD DVD Versions...
i had this version with making of BF first... but the OBI wasn't that good condition anymore...
so i buyed a new version... b'cause this was the only version they had...
but it wasn't the same... it was the A-Type with making of BLUE BIRD...
great for me ^_^
