She could have done so much more to fit this kind of music/theme and included a proper stage and more props. I'm disappointed that with everything she could have chosen to do, she chose to replicate something that's already been done, and some thing that's so simple as well.

I felt the same here. I think it pains to see something that simple after Japonesque PVs?
Sailor outfits suit her well though. like the dancing. yet it did really remind of B's Ladies

It doesn't really remind me of Beyonce. Sure, minimal and monotone, but not the same feel.

It actually reminds me more of like, variety shows from the 60s somehow, when they were just on stage performing with dancers, but koda style.

Good point :
This Pv actually represents theme of album very well, American-Retro. I love how simple it is and its cherography.

Bad point :
I had imagined about sexy lady sailor tries to tempt man in bar, so colorful, more promiscuous. But all is replaced by inspiration from Beyonce and Xtina, as theme song, it's little disappointing.

The coreography is kinda weak in my opinion... But coreographies were never the strong point of Kumi.

I would like to know how BoA would pull off a coreography for this song, It'd be more powerful I guess

I don't feel like BoA's style of dancing goes with this type of song at all.

Koda's choreography is always more a mix of dancing and a sort of -aegyo- type thing. You know, how Korean girls always have those little cutesy things they do. That's what kuu's choreographies always have, these charismatic gestures. I feel like it fits her style.

I don't care about beyonce, I love the PV so far, those short shots of Kuu in veil remind me of Ladies Night a bit

I love the PV preview!
The dance setting reminds me of Beyonce a bit as well, but it's not very original to begin with (and Beyonce wasn't the first to do that either).
The choreography is reminiscent of the dancing in the golden '20s imo.
The shadow bits totally reminds me of her own Driving Hit's 5 cover. Nice!
That popping up of colours here and there, I like that effect, just like a connection to the modern times. Also Kuu playing trumpet and drums, looks funky.
And that weird dress... are those antlers?
It looks so awesome and fitting to the album theme, just like the song!

Christina always seems to be a reference for Kuu imo. Not only she stated Aguilera as one of her favourite artists, but also visually there are inspirations like Love goes like x Fighter, show girl x Ain't No Other Man and even Alive x You Lost Me I think. So even with it looking similarly, it doesn't bother me at all
