the verse melody actually reminds me a bit of the verse melody in HEAVEN. both exude a kind of gentle warmth.

The LINE preview is pretty long... I guess we'll see. Cause we get basically everything up until the bridge and final chorus.

The GIFT is like the less-Japanese and less-dramatic cousin of HEAVEN in that case. It has that kind of weird structure and buildup.

It would've been cool if Ayu had only recorded last minute as a "studio live" and had only releases that version. Similar to Olivia/trapnest "Recorded Butterflies" from the NaNa anime.

You've just reminded me that I need to listen to the Inspi' Reira album again! (I really hope Olivia comes back one day).

And random but I love the fact that A Bell is followed by WARNING and NO FUTURE! All sounds very ominous although from what I've been reading, these songs don't sound like that at all!

I don't feel the urge to skip The GIFT in the preview video so that makes it a pretty good ballad in my book. I love the piano intro too. The only disappointing factor of the song is that the rest of it doesn't follow along that melody.

Same. Kuu has been going on about wanting one that she can hold on stage while singing Cutie Honey, or some other absurd shit, and got her little shotgun blessing, as did Amuro. But, I can't really remember Ayu ever talking about wanting kids.

I don't know why but I guess at some point when I was a noob at Jpop I may have switched some info and until very recently I thought Ayu couldn't have kids. And it made sense to me, she has a lot of PV with kids, but they always seem distant in a way, and there was Sweet Season (is that the right name) which was the master proof on this for me, but then a friend corrected me and I was like wAT
