The most complete album for me will still be PLAY or PAST < FUTURE.
I agree with you so much.
Her last two albums weren't really something for me, just about 2-3 songs from each. But same with her early stuff.
My favourite era still is Past<Future and Uncontrolled. And my favourite tour is also Past<Future, never seen her so into performing like there (especially the Rock U performance comes to my mind). Though I've only seen a part of her concerts.
If she would have had more like that in her discography, I'd probably be more than just a casual fan.

^it's funny that the tracks (besides Heaven and Alive ) by lfe are among the weakest tracks for me lol I guess that is what makes a good album.

Truly a #queen.

I've been trying to order the fanspace version (I am member) but mu-mo is giving me an error about the Kanji name field. I don't have a kanji name, but even if I try with someone else I still get this message: 商品に印字するお名前に利用できない文字が含まれています。(something about the characters I used being invalid for printing on the packaging? My Japanese isn't totally up to scratch) Is there a special way to do it or is there no way if you have an English name? I emailed Mu-mo but it will probably be a while until they respond. Any help would be much appreciated

Why? What she could do at 39, she can do at 40. If she wouldn't be able to, she could also tone down on dance routines and other things.
I just don't like all the "Stop, you're old" type of comments, even if you probably didn't mean it like that.

By the way, I really like Wonder Woman. It's so catchy.
No one said she's old or that's should retire because of it. Is just that she's been doing this hardcore rutines for so long and after a while it's not so easy anymore. Oh and she's been toning down slowing. But all that dancing is what she's known for. Some people rather stop than to mess up their legacy.

Ah, yeah. Like Toniayu suggested, you should write your name in Katakana for the top field (in the section regarding your shipping address).

http://www.sljfaq.org/cgi/e2k.cgi
You can probably just use this site since it's not really important haha

In the second field below that one, you can type your name in English as usual.

And for the field where it asks what name you would like to use to be printed on the album, you can only use upper-case English letters.

Is there any difference when you order from the fanspace?

The fanspace edition, if you order before October 2nd, will allow you to custom print your name on the front of the album under the box sleeve. There will also be a message from Namie on the back. The downside is that the fanspace editions don't come with a poster.

Thanks for the info Toniayu and Haraiso! I will try your suggestions and report back. (I tried using katakana in the top fields earlier but still didn't work.) would love to get the custom packaging fan space version since I've been a big fan of Namie and Ayu for about 10 years and it'd be a really cool thing to have.

Update: Managed to get it to work by using Google Chrome on a desktop computer. I was able to put in my name in English in both fields.

It's funny how people think your bones and muscles turn to mush and dust as soon as you hit 40, the fact is that if you live a healthy lifestyle and have had no major incidents or life changing occurrences, there's no reason you can't do something you did at 25, when you're 45. I imagine Namie's reasons for retiring are for personal reasons not health reasons, she never really seemed all that passionate or creative about music so good for her.

Yeah, I think it's a person to person thing. Some people are done at 30, some 40, some 50 etc. Namie seems to be doing just fine at 40.

Can anyone give me a list of songs that are different on the singles vs. the album version? I know some like NEVER END, RESPECT the POWER OF LOVE, Go Round, YEAH-OH and Violet Sauce are different (+ the first four SWEET 19 BLUES singles) but I think I'm missing some.

break the rules - "NEVER END", "PLEASE SMILE AGAIN", "CROSS OVER"
STYLE - "Put 'Em Up"
Queen of Hip-Pop - "ALARM"
PLAY - "Violet Sauce"
PAST FUTURE - None
Uncontrolled - "Go Round", "YEAH-OH", "Break It"
FEEL - None
_genic - None

^ Aside from the new versions of S19B and CYC, I think Ballada made some minor tweaks to some of the other songs too, although they weren't labeled as new versions. My memory might be wrong though lol

7-Eleven updated their Christmas page, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like Namie will be blessing us with another Christmas song this year. #NewQueenOfChristmasCancelled

You can, however, get a special VR viewer & VR video of Christmas Wish if you buy certain cakes though.

http://www.sej.co.jp/products/christmas/present.html

I assume the video will be the new merry-go-round shoot, rather than last year's CM.

^ Yeah, "Ballada" has tweaks. I just listed her original albums.

If we include best albums, as well...

181920 - "Don't wanna cry" is the full version instead of the single's radio edit. Apparently "You're my sunshine" is also different from the single version and "SWEET 19 BLUES" version
LOVE ENHANCED - all songs but "lovin' it" are mixed.
BEST FICTION - None
Ballada - "SWEET 19 BLUES", "CAN YOU CELEBRATE?", "Dreaming I was dreaming", "NEVER END", "I WILL", "Wishing On The Same Star"

How is Put 'Em Up different on the album? I mean, I always knew Put 'Em Up didn't have a different album version, but I checked the single version again and it's exactly the same as the album version.

The single version fades out while the album version has a "proper" finish. (This album version was also used in Best Fiction)

put 'em up is pure gold tbh, i'll miss her after her retirement, but she already retired from my favorite namie's style so the sadness is a bit more easily digested for me haha
