Ideally it's best if you know someone living in Japan who can help you . Worst case scenario is if tickets to the 5 Dome tour are way too difficult to get than anyone expected , they might implement face scanning security technology ? (http://aramajapan.com/news/faces-of-...oncerts/57670/)

That happened for B'z , Mr.Children , Momorio Clover Z and ARASHI (when they went back to do their 1st Arena tour in 9 years) but with it being a Dome , I don't think avex will do this cos clearing security checks will take hours to do (ARASHI fans who attended the Japonism Arena tour said it took them 3-4 hours to queue up before entering the venue)

I don't know if general sites like e+ , Lawson , TicketPia will sell physical concert tickets of Namie but by then the seats are crappy as the bulk of the better/good/best seats will be reserved for fanclub members

But it beats not having a ticket

Namie's tickets are always lottery-based through tickebo. She does have fanclub members-only lottery rounds, but for the general lottery, anyone (fanclub member or not) can apply for those lotteries and have a chance to win a ticket.

The first round(s) of her lottery are usually members-only. For those, I assume your chance of getting a ticket is higher since you're only competing against other fanclub members. After that, she opens up the lottery to the general public.

Also, since it is a lottery, it is purely by luck that you win a ticket. Being in her fanclub, unfortunately, doesn't guarantee you a ticket. But she usually does offer more chances to her fanclub members to win tickets via additional lottery rounds.

^okay, I see . thank you two for the infos. When I went to japan in April I got tickets for Kumi in Tokyo, but not for Namie in kyoto. I was sad, but I thought there will be more chances. I guess I'm going to wait for the dates befreo joining - maybe there won't be any during my vacations.

edit: OMG at Finally, sound so sad. Is it just me or does her voice sound really different/soft in these latest songs? Especially Finally and Hope.

Sometimes you still can buy leftover tickets at the venue on the concert day itself but for Namie , I'm not sure

You can check on Twitter if there're anyone who post that want to sell their tickets at the last minute at the concert venue but for that you're taking a risk so it depends if you want to take a gamble or not

On a side note: I was thinking about this "I'll let the fans choose the setlist" thing and I couldn't help but remember that a Brazilian singer (Anitta) did something similar, but for fans to choose the venue of a show and the trolls voted for one of the most distant states in Brazil (she canceled that poll, but later went to the state lol). What if Japan also has this kind of trolls and they mess the whole poll up? lol haha but I don't think so hahah

Not sure why there is such a panic over WILD not being included. If you love it so much just listen to it or buy the single or Past<Future. I love it too but. If it is true that each song will be rerecorded or redone somehow, the songs we love won't even be the versions we loved in the first place.
I do love the promo picture with the rose but the album art is very plain. Hopefully it is just the slip cover packaging or something. It is also cool about the voting. I will be sure to vote soon.

Feb/March is a good time to go Japan actually. Flights are usually dirt cheap in February. And March is cherry blossom season. I do find it odd that it's a dome tour starting in February, but she's not retiring until September.....there aren't that many domes to go around and fill up all that time. lol.

Yeah, Namie's shows were always in demand even before this. I'm in the fanclub and twice got denied tickets and instead had to get them through Yahoo Auctions while I was living over there. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed and may even just have to bite the bullet and apply for Sapporo or something just in case.

Other than second hand, yes. Namie's shows are so in demand that there usually aren't any tickets leftover for sale after the fanclub gets first dibs in my experience. Some artists you can get them through convenience stores etc., without being in the fanclub first, but that is only for less in demand artists.

The only option for Namie is either second hand or resale shops or Yahoo Auctions (but you would need someone in Japan to do that for you or a hire a service to do it)

No, but there are also the asian dates coming along with it and maybe she's doing one last dome concert in Japan as a final after that. Just going slow after the last long ass tour.

Maybe she'll just use the re-recorded version from Ballada. Wouldn't surprise me. And who knows, as her final release she may really do all the re-recordings. I sure hope she does.

lol the 150 remark I made is the seating capacity of Motion Blue yokohama

You imagine already my friend couldn't get tickets to Tokyo Dome (for ARASHI's upcoming Dome tour and yet she's in their fanclub +_+) and Motion Blue yokohama that only can seat 150 fans , it's a million more times harder

And on the 10 million yen cost , it sounds crazy but that's true . It happened before & you'll be surprised that some fans are willing to spend that kind of $ just to get a previous concert ticket

So that's true after all . I also thinks it depends on the artiste themselves

For me so far I've been lucky cos the venues I've gone before were Live House and Hall . 1st time I balloted tickets via the fanclub was for the last date of the tour & it was a Live House tour , couldn't believe my luck when I got it especially it was sold out (my friends were in awe of my luck haha)

I think Sapporo and Fukuoka Domes would be slightly easier to get as you have to take domestic planes to specially go to both prefectures
