My conclusion is because these people don't have ability to compose music, that's why they need to sing other ppl's songs. The sad thing, some people actually think japan/korea is try to copy taiwanese singers by singing their song (without know who's the original one), but in 99.9% cases, the original japan/korea/english ones are always the 'much' better version.

I don't think they steal the songs, more like their company borrowed the song under legal methods.
Actually I think that the company is actually trying to make use of the chinese artist to let the original singer gain some fame in the market.
Take example for fish leong's - Bu xiang shui which was a cover song from another japanese singer. And I'm sure no one will actually hear the original song IF fish leong didnt sing it as a cover.

Yes. They're trying to work it out for both, both singers hoped to gain new markets.

it is just a cover version. what is the big fuss????

so many artists do cover versions. it is not stealing, it is just a cover version.

what about madonna who sand 'dont cry for me argentina' which is not her own song? why did you not scream and shout?

if you say that's stealing, then what about the bar singers who sings pop/rock hits to entertain us?

what about the endless stream of people who keep singing their own version of 'unchained melody'? or the singers who make their own versions of beatles/elvis presley songs?

i am afraid your post is an exaggerated response which unfortunately shows your misinformation about the music industry.

Yeah, i guess i'm not to used to how the music industry works. I thought she sang the song without asking Ayu. The 'Slave 4 U', 'Everytime' cover of Britney's song seemed weird to me. I thought it was the same for 'End Roll'. Sorry for the mistake.

I didn't think of it at all

Anyway, about the fish leong cover song, they advertise her cover version commercial first then the original japanese singer's, which give thoughts to many of my friends (whom aren't familiar with the japanese music scene) that the japanese singer took fish leong's song and sang it as a cover. Although I try to explain the truth they just do not believe my words; which is pretty unfair to the original composer of the song, I thought.

I think it lacks emotions and instruments.

After all, how can she sing it with lots of emotions if she didn't wrote it?

its okay if they do that ... songs are done being copywrighted after i think 5 months ... but to use the song in movies or other things ... you have to ask for it!

^^ Wow, there's more than a cover of 'End Roll'.

Is this even supposed to be good for Ayu?
