Every once in a while a band comes out and all of a sudden everybody likes them, that's how it is here. =/ I mean, they're great, really, haha, but even all the kids who normally only like mainstream suddenly fall for Bloc Party as well. That's so wrong.

I completely hear ya. I almost through a fit when I heard banquet on MTV commericals one day. Luckily I haven't been aware of anyone I know who like them yet, other than the person who introduced them to me, and he's my music god. I know that sounds so painfully indie, but it does annoy me when bands that I really like become mainstream and are listened to by the wannabe punk teenyboppers. I can barely stand to listen to the Killers anymore because of it. ::le sigh::
And definately, Power Out is my favorite song on their album
