I entirely agree on The Arcade Fire - Funeral is a brilliant album. The songs Ash recommended are great as well (I've always been particularly fond of 'Neighbourhood #3 - Power Out'). I completely hear ya. I almost through a fit when I heard banquet on MTV commericals one day. Luckily I haven't been aware of anyone I know who like them yet, other than the person who introduced them to me, and he's my music god. I know that sounds so painfully indie, but it does annoy me when bands that I really like become mainstream and are listened to by the wannabe punk teenyboppers. I can barely stand to listen to the Killers anymore because of it. ::le sigh::

And definately, Power Out is my favorite song on their album
