Well "I am" was an album which sold pretty well right? So it must have had a lot of competition to drop out of #1. That's why I said so.

^well technically, I am... was already #1 for 2 wks cos of the oricon break. n on the 3rd wk it dropped out of #1, so i wouldnt really say its competition. it was just that I am... was released longer thats y it dropped out. also, the 1st set of sales (according to andre2907) for I am... was like 1.75m. the final total for I am... was like 2.2-2.3m

yeah i remember that... i was so happy that I am sold like 1.7 million copies in the first week.. then i noticed that it's actually the combined numbers of the first two weeks. I assume that the actual debut sales of I am was 1 million copies, then 750K on the second week. (oh my god... two weeks combined and it's just about 100K copies more than the first week of Duty...)

im confused about the dates starting from the bold.
a) shouldnt it say 2006? b) after 03-01-2005, y does it go bak to 01-01-2005?, then it goes 02-02-2005? 27-12-2005 = 1st 28-12-2005 = ?? 29-12-2005 = ?? 30-12-2005 = ?? 31-12-2005 = ?? 01-01-2005 = ?? 02-01-2005 = ?? 03-01-2005 = ?? 01-01-2005 = ?? 02-02-2005 = ?? 03-02-2005 = ?? 04-02-2005 = 1st 05-02-2005 = 1st

oricon usually releases every Tuesday ~ yeh so the numbers around tuesday
i dont really have high hope for this album so i wont get disappointed if the numbers are low but then if its high ill be so happy =)

If these sales figures are true, it doesn't really suprise me. Everything from the album title to the cover art could have been a lot better(IMO) and Bold and Delicious shouldn't have been the big song to promote the album. I would also place nearly every Ayu album ahead of this one in terms of overall quality.

up until before Bold & Delicious and before she died her hair black her sales were good and why does she have to keep singing Bold & Delicious ~ that song was good in the beginning but after that it is so boring. anyway i just check that phileweb and compared it with oricon and the sales at phileweb are lower than oricon. so (miss)understood prolly sells around 410k ~
