YEAH, whats his name.... Hide or Hyde. I think it was Hide. Well, he commited suicide and no one knows why, since there was no note or anything, and his closest friends and band members never saw it coming.

then at Hide's funeral, many of the fans also killed themselves. TYalk about dedication.. .

X Japan is a VERY popular jrock group. Their best songs are usually their ballads. Download Tears. I really like that song.

X Japan is my favorite rock group from Japan. "Art of Life" is still my favorite song of all time. It's 30 minutes long so I don't know if you have the patience to download something that long.

Some of the better ballads are "Crucify My Love", "Endless Rain", "Tears", "Longing", "The Last Song", and "Unfinished."

Some of the better fast songs are "Silent Jealousy", "Rusty Nail", "Dahlia", "X", and "Scars".

yeah their songs are great!! I really like 'crucify my love'

oh and about hide's death, some people said he killed himself accidentally. Coz at that time, there was one scene in the their coming concert which he had to 'fake' kill himself and ppl say that he was actually practising that scene when he was drunk and really accidentally killed himself! This is a rumour, though, we dunno what's true!

I'm also a fan of X Japan too. Frankly speaking i like their Ballads most.

Hide is a GREAT GUITARIST i have to say. He can totally play in synchronised with his partner, Pata. Too bad he had passed away on 1998. Ok anyway just FYI, Hide will have his 5th year memorial on 2nd of May. Which is 2 days later from now.

Toshi, Hide, Pata, Yoshiki and Heath altogether really made a good band called X Japan.

I am too late, to realise their greatness. It's sad they had disbanded long before i knew them.

The whole "visual band" thing is still very strange to me, but they do have good music and that's the more important than their ummm...........unique..........looks,

The X japan was known as the "sempai" of the current Visual Rock bands in Japan. The band vanished off the stage of their performance when one of the band member, Hide, commited suicide.

The Japanese even built a memorial museum in regard of the late member.

Japanese current Prime Minister Koizumi, admitted that he is a fan of the rock band.

Glay was somehow inspired by X Japan.

I have some of their songs, such as:

Forever Love
Crucify my love
art of life
endless rain
longing
