Beautiful Fighters: So inspiring. *.* 10/10 Ladies Night ~Another Night~: Gah, so amazing. 10/10 BLUE BIRD (Harderground Remix): Pretty good. 8/10 Overall: 9/10

01.BLUE BIRD - 6/10. It was nice for a short while, but it really is nothing new and after a while it gets really boring. Sadly, it's the best thing released thus far.
02.Beautiful Fighters - 4/10. This song is just plain wrong. At least with songs like BLUE BIRD, the awkward transition leads to a good chorus, whereas this song's awkward transition leads to one of the WORST things to ever hit my ears. Just plain bad. The only thing that saves it are the semi-good verses and "refreshing" vibes. 03.Ladies Night ~Another Night~ - 5/10. How unnecessary. Rearranging a song that was perfectly fine as a pop song. The rock sound is just awkward and doesn't work well with this song. The chorus just doesn't sound good without the pop arrangment. Ayu should have just given us a real B-side or something to make the single worth buying. 04.BLUE BIRD Harderground Remix - 6/10. It's not any better than the original song, so I gave it the same score. It's alright, but nothing amazing like that WILL -Wall5- remix from last year. 05.BLUE BIRD Instrumental - 7/10. The music was pretty nice, and it actually sounds a lot better without Ayumi's vocals. But who buys a single for instrumentals only? Not me. 06.Beautiful Fighters Instrumental - 7/10. Just like BLUE BIRD, this one sounds a lot better without vocals, and way better without that poor excuse of a chorus, vocally. Overall, it gets a 35/70, which is a 50% (F). So as much as I would be a fool for not buying A, I'd be just as much of a fool if I wasted money on this poor excuse for a 40th anniversary maxi-single. I'm so glad that Koda Kumi's got her big summer single to keep me happy this summer.

BLUE BIRD: This song reminds me of ANGEL'S SONG, not for the musical content, but for the fact that I liked it a lot better after reading the lyrics. Musically, both songs sounded happy but contained bittersweet lyrics; a really interesting, and somewhat heart-warming, combination. Alas, the song itself is a little slow and is something I will probably get sick of easily.
Beautiful Fighters: Another okay song. It's nice, but has the tendency to get annoying with the overused electronic voice and "GO! GO!"; it kind of grates on my nerves after a while, and it would be a better song if the music were better; it would be cool to hear a remix of it. Music aside, the lyrics are nice; however, it is my least favorite of her "girl power" songs. Ladies Night ~another night~: WOOOOOOOW!!! Enough said. BLUE BIRD (harderground remix): I really like this remix too! It speeds up the song nicely and it is not boring at all even though it is over 6 minutes long! Overall: A bit disappointing for a 40th single, but not as bad as it could have been. The music, thankfully, did not reflect the poor PVs, and made the single better than I thought it would be, though liking the remixes WAAAAAY more than the 2 A-sides is probably not a good thing.

Blue Bird - As I stated in other threads about this song, I like it but don't love it. It doesn't really sound that special to me. This sounds to me like slightly better than some of the m(U) album tracks, not a song that I see as being an Ayumi staple for years to come. I mean if this song is a 10, then what are songs like M or Evolution? 20s?!
 7/10Beautiful Fighters - I prefer this slightly to Blue Bird. It is a bit on the long side though for this type of song. I could have done with less repeats of the chorus and of the computerized voice - that gets annoying after a while. 7.5/10 Ladies Night (another night) - Probably one of Ayu's best remixes. However, I'm just not crazy about remixes in general, so any remix that gets over a 5 from me is probably like a 10 to other people. Pretty good, but I prefer the original Ladies Night. And what is the point of a remix if not to make the songs better than it originally was? 7.0/10Blue Bird Harderground Remix - Ayu has certainly had worse remixes than this. This is the trance/techno style that I usually like. But once again, remixes in general tend to do little for me. 6.5/10 Average Rating: 7.0/10 I find this single to overall be dissapointing for her 40th and prefer the Startin'/Born to Be single so far this year. I just don't find myself replaying these songs much. Like after maybe 5 times of playing them, now whenever they come on, I'll play like half and then want to switch to something else. I'm VERY impressed with the single! both BLUE BIRD and Beautiful Fighters are growing on me the more that i listen to them
Can't stop listening to the Ladies Night remix! its just so good!! and the cover is brilliant a very good single overall i'd say!

1. BLUE BIRD - 7.5 / 10i didnt like it at first. but now i feel that its a simple and good song!!
2. Beautiful Fighters - 7 / 10. Haha. just an alright song. not much impact on me. 3. Ladies Night ~another night~ - 9.5 / 10. i think its even better than the original mix! lovin' it!! 4. BLUE BIRD (Hardergroud Remix) - 6 / 10. the lyrics only took up 2 mins of the 6 mins + song. the rest are just repetitive. not a fan of it.

01 BLUE BIRD:
I fell in love with it after reading the lyric! It's not really original but it has a good summer feeling to it. I like the echo effect.  02 Beautiful Fighters: I'm not gonna say it's the best happy track ayu has ever made, but it's close. The only problem with it is it can be a bit over-repeating, but then I can forgive it, since this song always makes me smiling! 03 Ladies Night ~another night~: I can't say how much I love it! It's as mind-blowing as the original version! I like the transition from the verse to the chorus! The moment when she sings "Saa" to be exact. Hm... I wonder what inspire tasuku to turn a pop song into a rock one? 04 BLUE BIRD "Hardergroud Remix": Well sorry to say but I'm not really into it. It's definitely better than some of her average remix though... The fairyland single still has the best remixes.  It's not much for a 40th single and it definitely can't beat her past summer singles. However it turned out to be a good single that is better than Startin'/Born To Be... and Bold & Delicious/Pride. I have so much fun listening to it. Overall Rating: 8/10

ehmmm.. 01 BLUE BIRD: 10/10 this is the greatest summer song ever! especially the "lalala" part is my favorite part of this song...it feels so free and joyful when you listen to it.. 02 Beautiful Fighters: 9/10 i love the song overall especially the lyrics and the choruses part.. but not the computerized voice..i don't like it that much!~ 03 Ladies Night ~another night~: 10/10 oh my god..this remix is the best remix ever..i love it so muchhhhhh!!!! i think the original Ladies Night should be sounded like the remix, the better.. 04 BLUE BIRD "Hardergroud Remix": 4/10 nah..i don't like trance song.. conclusion: this maxi single ROCKSSSSSSSSSS!!! best cover and everything...

BLUE BIRD: Awesome upbeat song. Very refreshing. 10/10
Beautiful Fighters: Good pop song. A little too repetitive. 8/10 Ladies Night ~another night~: I love it! Very rock-ish. 9/10 BLUE BIRD "Harderground" : Hot, hot, hot! The mix is very 90s. 10/10 I'm impressed.

BLUE BIRD - 7/10. It's okay, not the best, but it's a nice song, best track of the two new tracks.
Beautiful Fighters - 3/10. Too cutesy, the electronic part is repeated too heavily, and I just don't like the pep-rally cheers. Didn't think that part was actually on the track, but it is - which explains the idea behind the PV. Ladies Night ~another night~ - 9/10. A good rearrangement, the best thing on the single. BLUE BIRD Harderground Remix - 2/10. Not a fan of these types of remixes, so it doesn't appeal to me. PVs - 4/10. Just too much of the dancers. As an Ayu fan, I want to see more of her and less of the dancers. BLUE BIRD was okay, looked spectacular but too much like a holiday promo ad. Beautiful Fighers was just too mixed up with two different ideas that had no connection. After hearing the track, though, it seems the pep-rally part came from that, and the scenes of Ayu and women dancers making mistakes was just thrown in as something more interesting to watch. Just not a good mix of ideas for me, and made it seem like a rushed job. Overall - 6/10. Above average. BLUE BIRD and Ladies Night ~another night~ save it from being another mediocre single. Bit disappointing for 40th single, but a bit of an improvement from the previous single.

Beautiful Fighters: 5.5/10 Ladies Night ~another night~: 8/10 BLUE BIRD (Harderground remix): 6.5/10 Heck, the remixes are the best tracks on this single. It's pretty average I say, it's as good as Startin'/Born to be... She has done better.

It's average. It actually grew on me after hearing the CD version and hearing the instrumental. Probably my 2nd favorite of the year after Startin', but still, it's not something I would put on repeat. Beautiful Fighters - 5/10 The arrangement is ridiculous. Bad percussion. Awkward compostion. Bad lyrics, even. Ladies Night ~another night~ - 6/10 I like the beginning, it's a nice energy rush. BUT, it's even more repetitive than the original one. I like the rock sound and all, but she should save it for an original song. BLUE BIRD "Harderground Remix" - 5/10 Not bad, considering the fact that I don't like trance. Overall: 5/10 I think it's her worst single yet. Enough said.

I do not think it's worthy of being her 40th single. Summer singles like H, &, and Inspire were far better.
Blue Bird: 6/10 It's nothing special to me. Beautiful Fighters: 5/10 I actually hate this less after hearing the high quality MP3. My big problem is the chorus just sucks, and the robotic voice part is repeated too much. Ladies Night ~another night~: 9/10 Sounds good! Blue Bird remix: 7/10 Better than the original, I guess.
