lol I sure don't blame you . Production values of Vietnamese music / performances have really gone up in recent years; I'm impressed. It still doesn't click with me though because I can't help but feel a lack of sincerity. Maybe cause I'm Vietnamese? <shrugs>

My mom knows someone who went to one of those Paris by Night compilation concerts. The person reported that it kinda sucked because it was like a TV show taping; if they messed up, they'd stop and do it over again, making the audience suffer, haha. I really appreciate the importance placed on live performance in Japan.

skal: That's really handy to have found it online. May I ask how much they are selling the CD for? An old Vietnamese CD is worth $1 at most, at least if you are considering the market consisting of these small retail stores.
