^^I at first also thought it was going to be a single...then it was pointed out to me as well...that it was not...there isn't enough time...unless..."she pulls an appears", but...I don't think so.

I like the power in the live version of the song, and at first, I wished that she would have had the same kind of power in the full version, but, the softness in the full version is really effective and it's very nice and soothing. I love the wierd sounds in the background...whatever they are...reminds me of the wierd sounds in ever free...

I also like how all the lyrics are the same...as in, she didn't cut any of the lyrics in the live version like she does sometimes for time. I suspect she did this because it was the first time the song was heard? I wonder if she'll cut them in the future, because perhaps the song is just short enough where she doesn't have to.

omg I can't wait for this PV...I'll probably cry or something the first time I see it. I love this song.

Who knows? It might be re-released as a limited edition single!

kanariya, Fly high, AUDIENCE and Daybreak were, but that was quite a few years back. I think it may be because of album sales going down.

Any comments on this matter?

While kanariya, Fly high and AUDIENCE made great chart runs I think that the release of Daybreak sort of turned avex off towards the idea. Now that her sales has declined so much already I do not think that they'll make more releases than neccessary, the more releases, the less people will start buying.

I think Ayumi seriously needs to re-search her roots in her music. I'm starting to seriously lose trust and faith in the music she's producing. JEWEL is her BEST release this year so far but NONE have been exceptionally impressive.

Aren't we expecting a bit too much when we think her music must be "exceptionally impressive" or we're not satisfied, and start to loose faith?

I don't know. I guess I'm falling into the "Ayu isn't that good nowadays" mood. I do hope I get out of it. I don't know, the singles are suppose to exceptional! They're supposedly the gems of the album! If not how are they going to promote the album?

Well, maybe I'm just deluded by the new style she's adopting. Strike me with something dark (like alterna) or rockish (like how MY STORY was on general) then I might reconsider?

BLUE BIRD actually sounds nicer now that I've listened to it for the umpteen time. But seriously, that PV needs a revamp. URGH.

I believe it's more the US style to release the singles as the gems of the album, in Japan it's very important that the album itself also has really good tracks.

At least that is the feeling I have gotten from it, her album tracks often excel the single tracks. Very often.

She makes the singles, and release them as they become ready. She often writes or sings, or has the songs of the album composed or arranged after the singles are released. On US albums they have all songs ready when the album is released, then they pick out the gems.

it awfully reminds of "CAROLS"
I think...well, to say straightly, I dislike it [JEWEL], unfortunately
it's 'so-so', just another one ballad
"HEAVEN" and "criminal" are more powerful and emotional, imo
