Smiling & Sad Ayupan

I don't really understand why are some of the AYupan sad and happy does it have to do witht he meaning of the song or singles? does anyone know

Sad ayupans are freaky demonic voodoo dolls of hell.

Initially, all ayupans were created with a SAD smile. It was really intriguing and subject of several wonderings (and jokes by me, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day ahahah) about why they looked so freaky and depressed. It seems like the very last ayupans to be released had a smile. avex probably realized those dolls would look better with a smile, or maybe people complained about it I dunno. The most recent ayupans have a smile but they aren't official releases though.

wait...the most recent ones aren't official? what do you mean? for example, are the recent (m)u tour ayupans official? or are they fan made?

I haven't seem those. But those ayupans parading on a truck such as the Bold & Delicious one are unofficial.

those (m)u arena tour 2006 ayupans are official which are sold by mu-mo.net

maybe those sad and smile ayupans definite ayu's feelings..

The unofficial ayupans are very easy to discern, either they look too hand made, or too good.

The AT06 ones are so hot, one or two of them are even smiling, I think... which makes it a total of... what? Maybe 10 out of 90 ayupans that smiles?
