I think Namie Amuro's music would do very well in the US..

I think the same. "Style" and "Queen of Hip-Pop" would do very well there, because of it's type of music and she's HOT. So instant success. Namie said to expect big things in 2007 so she might try for the US. Who knows?

IMO, the only think holding her back is that she's a mom. LOL
Remember when officials in LA held her back at the airport because she looked too young to have a son? ~

yeah, and it's a good thing too, since all music markets are obsessed with youth.
I can just imagine all the other J-pop/Rock/RnB artists trying to make it big in the States if Namie succeeds. I think it would also increase her popularity in Japan.

Agreed as well. Queen of Hip-Pop especially seems very in with the current American music scene. If it were in English then I think it could be a huge success, as long as it has good promotion. I mean, even ANY promotion at all would be an improvement over what Exodus got. I never saw the video for Easy Breezy on either MTV or VH1. Nor did I ever see a single billboard, poster, or magazine ad.
