Koda Kumi's recent photoshoot in kimono's was wonderful.
Shena looks great in one too.

Haha, Ayu do seldom wear, her songs seldom allow her to wear one. I think she wears customised kimonos, not the traditional type (super-short ones) during performance.

I love Ayu's kimono performance when she sang Moments during MTV super live 2004. That has to be one of the best kimono ever.

Ayu does look beautifull in a Kimono - the panasonic CM - I am... Arena Tour 2002 - Ayu-mi-x 4 + Selection Acoustic Orchestra Version cover
I'm glad too see Mika there she looks really pretty when wearing the black kimono to the MTV Asia Awards
Hitomi looks totally gorgeous in kimonos - in the Viola PV and the Haru Machibito PV
Ku also looks stunning in kimonos - I would love to buy one of her kimonos and Ai Otsuka also looked really nice in one of her photobooks wearing a kimono

the mtv superdrive 2004 kimono was amazing~ then the photoshoot in the summer...for a magazine, the pink one? haha i forget which mag it was..but that was really nice too~

I wonder if it was just who people thought looked good in kimono..?

They wouldn't necessarily would have had to wear it recently, but at some point in their career. :O

She was in a kimono in of her remix album covers, too.

Anyway, CM is much more acessible (and has much more impact) to japanese people than magazine shoots/album or single covers, so she probably got #2 because of the Panasonic ad.
