yeah, most of what makes the ayu-mi-x 5 single look as asymmetrical as it does, cuz she's turning her head eeeevvvver so slightly. But she still looks like herself when one side of her face is flipped & used as the other side, or if you flip a picture horizontally. If you've never seen the original picture before, it doesn't look strange at all.

Sure, look at her at age 16 and look at her at age 20. No one's face changes THAT much between those four years.

Why does everyone not wanna believe she's had plastic surgery? It's not like it makes her less of a person. And it's not like she had breast augmentation or anything, just had her face tweaked a bit, probably at avex's insistence.

I've always thougththat thepanasonic pics are just flip pics of her face... just like that pic Ayumi no Yume show us u can see clearly that her face is TOTALLY symetrical and that can't be! so... that's what i think.

The plastic surgery talk is in another thread that's why in the ayu-mi-x 5 she dosen't look all that Pretty and in the japanese lumix pic she does cause it's just flipped...

As a matter of fact, people's faces *do* change a bit in that time span, as people are still growing. Not to mention all the baby fat that starts to go away. :3

The only tweaking I notice in her past and present pics is the eyebrows plucked, the teeth straightened, and she possibly has done that "eye-popping" thing (someone had a link to this Japanese cosmetics website demonstrating...it was very amusing xD)

But in no way, do I see any sign of "plastic surgery". I just want to see the evidence you base your opinion on is all, because I have quite a few pics to disprove it.

It's futile to argue about whether she had cosmetic surgery or not. It can't proved or disproved with pictures.

i think that the main reason she looks so different, is that her hair is a different color and style, and she does her eyebrow shaping and her make-up differently...

someone above said that panasonic pics are always flipped...that wasn't the case this time, because I flipped the picture, and in the original picture her left(our left,her right) eye is bigger and her brow is different, it was a big difference or else I would have never flipped the picture and just took the camera out

This is an interesting topic .. honestly, yes people's face shapes DO tend to change a lot. About 3 years ago, I had a really really round face, but as I got older, my face shaped out to what it is today

I wouldn't doubt that she's had some sort of surgery, but not death-threatening kind. Maybe an eyelift, but hey, do you guys KNOW how common it is in Asia to have that done?

Not only that, but in Japan, their make up technology is REALLY good compared to American make up. Jeez, I'd love to get my hands on their eye-popping mascara, lol.

Honestly though, it's popular all around Asia to have "Caucasin" looking eyes, so surgery is really common in Japan. I even read in this magazine about this one Asian model saying she wants bigger eyes.. -_-;; The things that they don't have makes them more unique, that's all I have to say about it.
