Hardly anyone's face has it actually. Scientists did a study on what makes a person's face universally attractive, and it's symmetry. The relative size of the features barely matters at all as long as their face is symmetrical. In most people there's one eye bigger than the other, or one eyebrow will be lower, or the nose will be slightly crooked (or REALLY crooked if their nose has been broken in the past), or the lips won't QUITE be symmetrical. But on ayu most of that is the case. The eyes don't quite line up right but to be honest that's the only thing that's not symmetrical and it's barely noticeable unless you draw a line from the outside corner of one eye to the outside corner of the other eye. (I did this in '02. )

Er, in Ayumi's case, that's not really true but ok...

One of her eyes is bigger than the other. It's noticeable if you flip pics of her over in Photoshop but normally, we don't notice because it's what we are used to.

does anyone else think emigotokawa's sig picture was photoshopped..?...Her face is TOO symmetrical...and its nto even her face..EVERYTHING is symmetrical..O.o

I learnt that in psych in first year, hehehe. From then on, I've been afraid to check & see if MY face is symmetrical...I'm afraid I'd turn out "unattractive".

I just flipped both the ayu-mix picture and the panasonic ad, and indeed she is nearly perfectly symmetrical. o___o She's not perfectly symmetrical, but she doesn't look crazy when you add the flipped image to it like most people do. It's a bit abnormal though. D:

of course its photoshopped.. thats true what they said about her eye being bigger than the other...i had a problem with that...and her face in my sig is not as round as it is in the original lumix pic like in the avatar...that one wasnt done as well...its all pixely...i just liked having those bead thingys on both sides...but when i was doing the pic...her face really did seem like perfect...

flip one half of her face over the other...thats when it gets scary because it looks almost the same

Yep i saw the special on TLC..

If you copy and paste your face like u did with ayu and if it still looks ok then u are good looking... that' cause it's symetrical... if not then u r not

There is also a mask u can use to see how symetrical your face actually is.

I uploaded an ayu face and the mask in .PNG so it's transparent. Just place a pic of you under the mask and try it.. u can also print it in one this paper (I don;t know thw word in english) but it's transparent.

Interesting. Well, I doubt her face is perfectly normal, because nobody's perfect. The ayu-mi-x 5 does look abnormal, but is it possible she's at an angle? But I wonder if she has any adnormal-ies in her face because of all the plastic surgery she's had.
