It's prolly true. Ayu's no different then Britney Spears. They're both stuck up and pampered. Oh well.

You're using words from the dumbest magazine in the world - appledaily..Britney Spears came to Brazil once and played her songs on "playback" in a LIVE concert. She almost didn't open her mouth to sing. It was so ridiculous people almost asked for their money back. Ayumi is not stuck up cause she does a great work and she doesn't need to be a fake person in order to be famous and she REALLY sings on her concerts.

haha Are you sure that we're talking about the same Ayumi Hamasaki here? lol Ayu the same as Britney Spears, no way! The are two very different people. Ayu may have a lot of money so she can be pampered, but I don't believe that she would do this and be so disrespectful. Plus, the source of this news is a known publisher of crap. So although you are right because it's possible that it's true, I highly doubt it's entirely true.

By the way, welcome to AHS.

What a mean thing to say about Ayu!! Are you really even a fan? Or did you just come here to bash her? Please don't post ugly comments about Ayu at this forum. This is an Ayu fan forum, not an Ayu bashing forum.

Biscuitgirl and Grant took the words right out of my mouth. . .

How anyone can compare Britney to Ayu is beyond any reasoning I can make. Britney is the fakest (musical) artist I've ever seen whether it's her television appearances or her concerts. Secondly, you've completely disrespected Ayu by saying she's stuck up. Would a stuck up artist go and please her fans with concerts and an album to the point where she's ill? Ayu cares for her fans greatly and wants to give them the best she possibly can whereas Britney won't even sing at her own performances.

Back to the real world, yeah. They do sound blown out of proportion. The behavior described sounds like something a five-year old would do.

Err, I think you all completely ignored the disclaimer at the end of Kawai's post, Apple Daily was quoting Weekly Bunshun, a Japanese source.

Also, it's pretty obvious that bad press doesn't affect Ayumi's music sales or popularity, so what's the big deal? Everyone gets bad press and Ayumi certainly doesn't need anyone defending her since she's probably heard it all before. Becoming famous means taking the good and the bad, true or not.

Though many of you thinks that the new is false, but I find that the fact that it is in the newspapers means the event happened. I did see the same news on the newspaper, though it is of a shorter version. Instead of running away from the truth, we should learn to accept it.

Think about this, Ayu had always been someone who does as she pleases. There is definitely a reason why she acted the paper she did. And though newspaper report the truth, they seldom report the whole thing. That means something may have target her actions.

As for me, I kind of admire her attritude. The courage to do whatever she wants, to break the norms, no rule. And that's what you get from her songs, the fresh, new, never heard before feeling.

Well...
1) If Ayu was extremely tired and did take her frustration out on people, I still cannot bring myself to believe that she was disrespectful to royalty. I just can't see that happening.

2) How can Ayumi be compared to, of all people, Britney Spears. This is just stupid. As pointed out by other people here, Britney doesn't even sing at concerts where people PAY to see her PERFORM LIVE for them. That is disrespect to fans who , if it was not for them, she would not be famous. Britney is completely stuck up though as when her movie, corssroads, was released over here in the UK, she hardly even looked at her fans when moving from the car to the cinema. Now compare this to, say, Tom Cruise who once spent 2 hours outside the cinema with his fans, even talking to one persons mother on their mobile phone. THAT is dedication to fans.

3) Ayumi knows that if it was not for her fans, she would not be where she is today, and so in return for their support, she is willing to treat them with great respect and works towards pleasing them. Yep, that sounds extremely stuck up to me.

Well, sorry if I ranted, but I just cannot believe some of the stuff that i have read in this thread.

devilayu, Kawai updated his post to include that Japanese source. When he originally posted the info, that was not there. So I at least didn't see the addition until you pointed it out.

I dunno, I still think that the reports are exagerated. You have to have a lot of guts to disrespect a queen! I personally have trouble picturing Ayu do that. It's possible, but I find it hard to believe.

I still can't believe all that crap. It just doesn't sound right. Ayu doesn't give up on her fans in Japan, why would she go so far as to disrespect royalty in another country? I don't think I've ever seen as much fan dedication in any other artist. Does Britney Spears have a fan club wear she regularly sends messages? Did she ask her fans to help her write lyrics to one of her songs? No, since she doesn't even lift a finger to write any of her own stuff. Britney has been having a lot of trouble lately, I don't think she has what it takes to keep herself where she should be. She doesn't have that much dedication. Apparently, a lot of her recent performances have been terrible - she won't sing or her lipsyncing if off. Ayu so such a heart for her fans. Everything she does if for them.

Newspapers can make errors in info too! Ever heard of retractons? There have been many instances when newspapers have reported false information and with time they'd retract it. So even though this supposed event was reported in a newspaper, that doesn't mean it's right.

Yet there is a line between doing what you please and also disrespect. As some of the initiates said before, sure Ayu has freedom just like anyone else but I believe she wouldn't go as far as disrespecting A QUEEN! Ayu has more sense than that.

You're still ignoring the fact that there are rules when seeing any person of high authority, whether it's a queen, prime minister, president, etc. Ayu wouldn't go and break every single rule in the book just to make herself happy, especially when she's in a country other than her own. Everyone is expected to obey such rules.

Even though Apple Daily had some sort of connection to the news, it's all tabloid crap.
