I haven't got an iPod, but I've heard a lot of tales from friends who brought iPods and said they've crashed, or deleted their music or the battery just randomly dies.

Or maybe they don't like what you put on them. D:

Hold on. If you delete it from iTunes and sync the iPod then the files get removed anyway ...

AND THEY REPLACE EARPHONES?! GAH. Mine broke and ive just bought a pair of £4 ones from Argos ...

-I manually manage mine
-They test them to see if they are actually busted though.

My headphones were replaced by e-mailing them from their site/technical support form.

They just sent them to me for free. :\

Though my old iPod went haywire and I ended up selling it online for 50 bucks. The iPod Photo would turn on, and then the center button would refuse to work. Even after a reset and crap.

Mine has had it's battery lose it's charge completely a few times, but I just plug it into the computer and it's fine.

I don't quite understand why people would delete the file once it's in their ipod though... I always keep my files, they don't play on iTunes without them...

I also don't use their earphones =D Ear buds bug the crap out of me.

I keep my files too. Dunno why you wouldn't. It's a ***** to get everything back.

Oh, and you have to have your warranty still if you want new headphones for free I think.

I've had an 8GB iPod Touch for a few months now, and it's worked like a charm. Occasionally something weird happens, but it's nothing that can't be solved by turning the iPod off, then on again. I don't put videos or photos on my iPod, so I suppose that helps.

I don't think you can go to the store and be like: "HEY I WANT NEW HEADPHONES"..

I'd just do it online..

I'm getting a feeling that the newer generation iPods are having more problems than they're worth. =/ And you seriously need an iPod THAT large to hold all your music, fannie? XD LOL How many songs do you have? XD I have the 30 GB Video iPod, had it for over a year now, and it has yet to give me problems. =3 I'm about 8 GB from filling it, have over 3k songs and 20+ videos. It's fine for me. <3

Just talk to Apple. I'm sure the support email is under the Contact button. Or support. Check the bottom of the Apple page and it should say something like- Contact us or something.
