Just heard it! ~ Thanks for mentioning it guys. It adds a lot more depth to it somehow for me, just cause it's ever-so-slightly echoing it in such a different way...the two songs are almost complete opposites.

Has Ayu ever done the connected song thing after doing it in P.S II? I know that had a chorus from POWDER SNOW, but that's about all I can remember. I think she's also quoted her older songs at some point too, but I can't remember which songs~

We do say that about most albums... but I don't think that it was said about Secret, GUILTY, or NEXT LEVEL at all, haha.

Secret -> this album is rather rushed, don't like it [but people eventually grew to like it?]
GUILTY -> this tracklist does not look like an Ayu album... this is fake, isn't it? [arguably the most split album when it comes to fans nowadays I think, tied with NEXT LEVEL]
NEXT LEVEL -> album sounds rushed and not cohesive [though some people feel that the album tracks do fit together and it's just the singles + Curtain call that really don't fit]

Sunrise and Sunset doesn't really count as the same thing for me since it's the entire composition that was used, not a section from an older song, plus they were on the same release with the intention of being different interpretations of the same composition. (Though Last angel is probably as close as it can be to Love song as it can be when it comes to being 'new'.)

I just noticed this on CDJapan:

Ayumi Hamasaki brings her 12th album "Love songs" in three versions on December 22, 2010. This album includes 8 new songs as well as "Moon / blossom," "crossroad," and "L.."

There's 9 new tracks, and this says 8 new songs, so maybe there's only 1 interlude..?!

lol, it's either a typo, or they really don't count interludes as anything new that needs to be mentioned.

This Info on CDJ is still from the first time when the Pre-Order came up and only 8 new songs were planned, I think they just didn´t change that.
