we were talking about who's richer than who..
i'm a hardcore ayu fans while my friend is hardcore JYJ fans
i keep on telling her that ayu is richer than jyj..
and she didnt want to lose by saying the same thing...
a stupid argument..lol

Oh, by the way, Ayu definitely is richer than JYJ.

Since they're from DBSK, they were with SM for the first 7 (?) years of their career. Remember how they sued SM for not paying them enough? lol Not only that, but their royalties are split between three people. And furthermore, Ayu has been around much longer, so she's had more time to bring in money.

If you assumed both groups were profiting the same amount and never spent any of it, let's say $5 per year, Ayu would have $65. Each member of JYJ would only have ~$8.67.

Considering it says that she's 31 years old, I doubt the list was compiled in 2011. If you do a search for the list (on Google - NYDN finds nothing) the results have sites which mention the list from 2010. Which would probably also explain why Gaga isn't on the list.

Gaga might make money but she spends it straight back into investing in outfits, stages etc from what I have heard. In the earlier years she kept nearly going bust.

Wasn't the general consensus that the list was fake when it first made the rounds? It's not on the New York Daily News website (that I can find), and someone has yet to provide a scan or photo if it was a print-exclusive story.

Gaga's often said in interviews that the Monster Ball sent her into debt and it's costing her a tonne to put on with no return. She's doing it for her fans! ^^
