Ahahah just today a friend of mine asked me why I buy CDs when I can download music for free.
I love collecting CDs from my favorite artists, and I want to support them! I also like the whole package, the booklet ecc. And finally I listen to CDs in the car

I like collecting CD's, and I like listening to CD's in my car. Plus; I am paranoid so I do not download songs released in the USA LOL! And I like the packaging and stuff too usually. And I rip all my CD's at a certain quality on iTunes.

I only buy CDs to support certain artists. I'll share the music...depending on what it is and it's accessibility. Most of the time, I buy CDs for collecting purposes.

I'm so wondering about it, I get the music digitaly anyway + I could use the money for sth else and yet I still get new albums in its physical form.

tbh I even buy vinyls
the thing is that it's material and will stay even when I die and etc. it's just like pieces of me, saved for my future children and grandchildren. I'm sure it'll be interesting for them to see old grandma's cd/vinyl collection haha. though actually I don't have many CDs.
