The big difference with Madonna's sampling is that 1) Abba doesn't let anyone sample their tracks ever, except this time and 2) Madonna made sure everyone knew she got Abba to let her sample their song.

Samplings usually go unmentioned.

I've already mentioned a few times in a few places (here at AHS included) that Rainy day reminds me too much of the Close Encounters song. GEO is really starting to upset me.

The PV makes the song easier to listen to, sorta, but I STILL only hear Close Encounters when i hear it! If there was more to the melody than that one phrase repeating three times I probably wouldn't notice too much, but that's all there is to the song's chorus! The hook IS the close encounters music! The lyrics are probably really nice (from what little i can pick up, they really are), but... the melody, it's just... ugh. x_x

This is completely off-topic, but did any of you even know that "alien" means foreign? For example, I could be an alien to everyone who doesn't live in Australia.
