Anyone else think MY STORY has great lyrics?
Ok, I know MY STORY is hated by a lot of people, but I really love this album. I was reading the lyrics the other day, and I realized once again, that it has amazing lyrics, some of her best lyrics, in my opinion. Some of my favorites are: About you, GAME, Liar, HOPE or PAIN, winding road, INSPIRE, Happy Ending and Moments. Anyone feel the same way?

Yeah, even though the music was kind of bland, the lyrics are really touching.
Don't forget about Replace!

-Catcher in the Light
-Liar -HOPE or PAIN -HAPPY ENDING -INSPIRE -Humming 7/4 (Ignore "Everybody go/jump!") With the exception of Humming 7/4, these songs are also pretty enjoyable musically, especially HAPPY ENDING, Liar and HOPE or PAIN. Those three are so underrated, I love them.

The lyrics to MY STORY were good, weren't they?? I especially loved the lyrics to 'Moments'! They were so touching

I always was fond of MY STORY; I don't know why.
The compositions are a little... well, odd... but the lyrics to all the songs were very nice.

I think that if Tetsuya Yukimi didn't ***** MY STORY out with almost every song having one of his compositions, it would've been SPECTACULAR.
I don't get why Ayu doesn't choose to theme her album off her own compositions rather than others at the moment.. >> [for example, Tetsuya Yukimi and GEO .. x.x]

Hate to be pouring cold water, but I thought her earlier albums were stronger lyrics-wise. In MY STORY it seemed as if she was starting to recycle old lyrics. Still, these are better than 90% of what's being written in the music industry.

Well, the album MY STORY was sort of Ayu's first venture away from her 'I am Ayu the product' self. At least, I think so. M.A is when she began to reject that self, and MY STORY is completely 'devoid' of that Ayu.
You could say though that in her first albums she was a bit 'fresher' lyric-wise due to having experienced so much at the time. Now it's been almost 8 years and she's still writing and singing AND doing well. I think that's admirable.  Her lyrics are just as good in my opinion as they have been before.. maybe even better!

I really liked her lyrics from MY STORY (for the most part).. Game, Happy Ending and Humming 7/4 (minus everybody go/jump) are some of my favorites.
Unfortunately, in (miss)understood I felt kind of let down by a few Ayu's lyrics (Bold & Delicious, Ladies Night, Step You)... the only song that had lyrics which really stood out to me was Pride.
