I'm surprised to see no thread about this band. I'm not so much into boybands but I was recently impressed by their latest single 'Sorafune'. Some information about them:

TOKIO is a popular Japanese pop/rock band formed by Johnny & Associates in 1994. It is made up of five boys, starting from Sony Records, now from Universal Music Japan. They started as a band in 1994 with their debut single, “LOVE YOU ONLY.”

They've released a total of 37 singles and 14 albums to date since their debut in 1994. They shall be releasing an album on the 18th October called Harvest. All members of this band are quite talented, they have acted in movies and doramas, host variety shows and compose and play instruments. 'Sorafune/ do!do!do!' is their latest release which is the theme song of the dorama 'My Boss, My Hero' where Tomoya Nagase stars.

I believe that do!do!do! is going to be an Xbox theme-song or something.. I'm not sure though.

They're like the only Johnny's band to all play instruments

Nice! I'm glad that this single is getting a lot of promotion. It's quite good.

SCANDAL

According to thetokio.com, a recent issue of Flash has published a photo of Nagase going to Ayumi's house with housewares and also once with a bag of food from a convenience store. Although it has been rumoured that Nagase is currently dating the female lead actress of MBMH, Aragaki Yui (which I personally think is ridiculous), according to that particular issue of the magazine, Nagase was spotted wearing the love token between the two of them on his hand and they suspect that they are cohabitating.

Well, I think of it as like..

How people might pair up random people from drama shows.. like Kame and Itou .. what's her face LOL

I think that Nagase is still with Ayu, unless stated otherwise

Hm yeah they tend to do so

in the dorama Nagase falls for the main actress so I suppose rumours started rising. Personally after watching the dorama I could see why Ayu and Nagase are so compatible. They both have a silly personality which makes you laugh so much. I have a feeling they're still together too.
