besides just the songs, I'm really looking forward to seeing the covers. I think ayu's remix albums have some of the best album concepts she has ever had.

I was thinking of silver & gold bodypainted headshots for the covers would be cool, but Ken Hirai did it for his remix albums already so they should go for something else.

please share any thoughts on the upcoming remix albums

if this albumes reach good sales maybe the trance lovers can wait for the next ayu-trance

I really like the titles SILVER and GOLD. They're simple and classic, like BLACK and WHITE were.

seems like they're really investing on these new remix albums. compared to RMX works these new remix albums have really current & famous producers doing remixes.

I don't think there's a change for a new ayu-trance anytime soon. seems like these remix albums are very much into current trends, and house is in at the moment so judging from the remixers these new remix albums are very heavily in the house-genre.

trance & eurobeat just aren't really happening at the moment, which is a shame. I don't mind that there's not a new ayu-trance since I'm not too into trance anymore, but a new eurobeat remix album would have been fun.

Yeah I'm actually rather surprised to see them releasing remix albums to start with. After the Ami Suzuki remix album fiasco I was suspecting avex was steering away from remix albums. I am not sure if these two albums will sell well but I suppose with some promotion these albums might manage to sell a decent amount.

The Silver & Gold theme probably is in continuation with her best album concepts. I am imagining something with a particularly interesting concept. I hope we won't be disappointed. If I like the covers enough I might end up purchasing them.

i liked ayutrance more too, but who am i to be picky right now, i'm looking foward to new mixes! i fear they won't be as good as past remixes, but i hope avex can prove me wrong!

p.s.: i guess avex isn't very happy with ayu's guilty sales, so they decided to release a remix album...a best has been already done. reuse old stuff wheeeeh.

Yeah. This is great thing and I'm really waiting to hear all the songs. The remix of Greatful days wasn't very good though but fair enough.
It's nice that they have couple of famous artists this time. Ayu trances used to have more of them.

It's interesting to hear what kind of mixes they have done with these new songs.

I hope there will be a new Ayu trance too since my fav genre is (euro)trance.

This is the best Ayu news I've heard in a long time, her remixes are what got me to love her in the first place, I enjoy her original mixes as much as the next person, but her remixes rock just as much. I have a good feeling about these albums, I cannot wait to see the covers, I loved the RMX covers. And the release of these isn't that far off, they'll be released during me spring break, so I'll have a great break/vacation with this. Not only that, it's released before I go to a con, I will deffinately be playing it there to promote.

and if you want a remix made by a great dj,,you have to put yourself in the waiting-list

I don't think they're expecting anything that grand in terms of chart success out of these remix albums. casual listeners won't buy them, just fans & people who are into club music. someone on JPM noted that the new EXILE album will be out the same day so there's no hope for #1 even just on the daily charts ...

It's really hard to estimate how much the remix albums will sell, but I'm thinking they might pass 100k each.

that's ok...most of her remix albums didn't top the charts anyways. RMX works didn't sell over 100k each so I don't think these will...maybe combined.
