Did Ayu sing M live at Asia Tour?

I just watched the DVD and was amazed at how Ayu sings M. It almost sounds like it was mimed. Can she still sing in that very high pitched voice as she seems to on the last chorus now that her voice has changed?

I would assume that it was live during the concert. You can't really tell on a DVD because of all the editing.

Yeah I thought this too but it doesn't really sound auto-tuned on the DVD... Either it's live or was just dubbed completely...
Did anyone see the tour live? Can she still sing in that voice?

I'm sure she can.

People who went to go see her said her vocals were pretty good throughout the whole show.

I've seen low quality video clips from her Hong Kong concert and she sang the entire song live, at least I think so... She did sing the high pitch part of the song and it souded AMAZING, so yes, she sang it live.

kiss 'o kill sounds VERY dubbed if you compare it to the actual song. The same vibrato, etc. The other songs sound live though. The only song I doubt is kiss 'o kill... Lol. Like before the first chorus.

I thought kiss o' kill was one of the more obvious songs that she actually did sing.. :|

Nothing's the same as the original. Unless you're playing the live ver. on accident and comparing it with the live video... then duh it'd be the same. LOL

I don't think so at all... kiss o'kill sounds completely live. Her voice in the live for the beginning part is a tad more high pitched than the album ver. of kiss o'kill.

As for 'M', the album ver. sounds more high pitched, so I think she sung it live. And I don't think she'd just "forget" to sing in that voice.. like she sang 'appears' for example. But I can see how she might have a harder time going back to it.

Yea, since they enhance for noise reduction, etc etc etc, but I have faith, haha. As well as 'ear-witness' accounts

lol.. everything is LIVE! its so easy to see when ayu didnt came in on the beat itself and tends to be faster or slower especially in kiss o' kill..

She sang it live, and if u have any doubts u cant hear music nor know something more about it.... She will better sing live and fake than to be idiotic playback doll. Thats why I adore any of her lives, even they r very bad.

I think the DVD tries to create perfect audio for us, which is good. But then we doubt her abilities because it sounds so good.

Like, a DVD with muffled-sound-that-sounds-like-it-came-from-the-arena probably wouldn't attract many buyers..

I see these kinds of thread very often around here. Why is it such a big deal? I think Ayu's proven herself a lot already, you guys shouldn't worry so much about things like these. It's clear and has been said many times, they edit things out in the DVD to provide the best sound for those buying it.

Plus, when people do have to lipsync, it's not always because 'OMG their voice is horrible and they can't sing'. Obviously, Ayu is a good singer, and even though she can probably buy everything in this world, equipements do break and do have malfunctions. If the sound doesn't come out right because of those reasons, they will have artists lipsync, and that's for any other artists too, from any countries.

At this point, I don't think it should matter(ESPECIALLY on Dvds), unless it becomes way obvious and keeps repeating over and over again.
