And it became one during her 10th anniversary year, too, w00t. According to Wikipedia, Featured Articles are those articles that are "considered to be the best articles in Wikipedia". Of the 2.6 million articles on Wiki, only 2300 are Featured. Furthermore, Ayu's is the first article on a Japanese singer to become featured.

Now I know some of you don't think much of Wiki, but the article looks well-sourced (a pre-req for Featured Articles), and there's the chance that it will appear on the front page for a day. Considering that Wiki is the eighth most popular website in the world (think of all the exposure Ayu would get), that couldn't be all bad. And I know the editor who worked on the article, and he's trying to get the article to be featured on the front page on the same day "Days/Green" is released, so...I'm crossing my fingers.
