NEO 100th Issue
I collect a UK magazine dedicated to all things anime/manga/asian entertainment, called NEO. This month sees them celebrate their 100th issue.

Their monthly 'Profile' page this month is devoted to 'Japan's Most Celebrated Songstress'.

It's only a small article, but I was happy to see it never-the-less.

omg love love love this article ,very nice and they mentioned her great works and selling here

but one of her notable work is Party Queen...well ok then

so Ayu is 33 i thought shes 34 lol

I wish they used another picture!! But it's nice to see her get a focus

I've read that NEO magazine a few times before, it's pretty good - I wonder if people will start listening to her after their article?

It's kind of funny to see PQ just slapped in there amongst her first albums, why not something from the middle as well like (m)u or MS? And I thought MTRLG was disbanded in the early 2000s??

Has anyone read the previous Ayumi article that Neo published?
Ayumi actually appeared in the first ever issue of Neo (which I still have) and it featured a very negative review of her! I remember the writer getting tonnes of complaints about it. It's nice to see this review has a different take on it.

I haven't read it personally, but I've heard of that article. I'm happy it's more positive too.

I was going to say didn't they already do a profile in the very first issue which resulted in them getting a few angry e-mails? There was an e-mail in the letters page of the next issue at least. And I think the writer of it was posting on JPM and getting abuse lol. I'm not usually too bothered by these sorts of articles but even I was bugged by it. Why write a negative review of someone you don't even like for your first Jpop Profile? It is a profile after all so doesn't ask for the writer's opinion and was designed to introduce people to Jpop I think. So why you would make the first article a negative one I don't know.

Wonder why they have brought back the Jpop Profile page when they dropped it?

Nice to see that they are using a new picture, though I am unsure why Party Queen is a notable work.
