I think ayus double appears on stage when she does the magic disappearing trick...for example:

-dome tour in audience, the motocycle in box and reappearing from the above stage
-arena tour 2002 in opening run, she got pulled and stuff by the dancers. I couldnt see her face. I think she took this time to change into the next outfit.
-BEST of cdl, the changing part during evolution in front of the heart. Her back was facing the audience the whole time. I kinda saw her going in the heart and coming back out but Im not 100% sure.
-AT07, they probably used her during kiss o kill for the black cape disappearing into the stage and after 3 secs reappearing above on a cross.

I think the main reason for ayu to have a double is so she can see what the whole concert look like with someone that dresses the same as her, following her movement. Coz sometimes its hard to visualize the whole thing. and the clips that are shown in credits could be during rehearsals.



Also who the heck cares about his sales? He sell good or not within HK or outside isnt gonna make him a better person, a respectful person. Andy Lau is someone I respect. He respect people within the industry and outside, help people, praise people. People respect him coz he respect others. He is like my dads age and yet he still have many people supporting him. He also rarely have bad news too. I think eason should learn from him. He might be able to sing well and have good songs and is known to be the music king or whatever in HK but he doesnt have what it takes to be the lead coz of the way he is, his personally of not caring and just say whatever. Will not think if after saying something will effect another person.

Easy. BoA's BEST OF SOUL, somehow peaked at #15 on the Japanese Charts in Taiwan. Not doing as well his her studio albums.

I'm not sure how Nicholas Tse is doing in Taiwan right now but his last mandarin album was released the same week as Eason's last mandarin album and it debuted higher and stayed longer.

But there are quite a few HK singers who are doing way better than Eason is doing. GIGI leung comes to mind. Keep in mind that i'm basing all these on the rankings on the official Taiwan music chart.

I'm assuming you weren't paying attention during the whole debate. The whole discussion started because you and Uranus were debating about Ayumi and Eason's popularity in terms of sales. I'm not implying that you said that Ayu's less popular than Eason in Asia. It's that you've been against the facts and have been desperately trying to prove Eason's popularity. The whole point of this discussion that you and URANUS started was about Eason and Ayumi and their popularity.

I pay very little attention to Nic Tse. But I do know his popularity in the mainland is a lot more than his popularity in Taiwan

I've heard of her doing alright in Taiwan, but l don't think she's doing a whole lot better than he is. I would say Jacky Cheung is doing way better than Eason is doing, and to an extent Twins.

You're right. It was one of the factors along with the others that I have said. (The others being no promotion, hiatus etc.)

The whole discussion started because URANUS directly compared the sales of an HK LIVE album with a Japanese studio album. He implied that his "low" sales caused him to be jealous of Ayu. Also, he claimed that none of his albums made the TOP 20 in Taiwan, which I doubted it was true.

Doesn't matter whether Eason is a famous singer or not or how many albums he sells. Whatever it is, one shld be respectful of fellow singers. If one has nothing good to say, then just keep quiet rather than say negative things to the media when you know that they will make it front page news!

And Grasshoppers pleeez. They're trying to make some kind of a "comeback" so there's only one reason why they wld comment on Ayu when they didn't even attend the concert...

Yes...grasshopper is having concert soon I believe and what a great opportunity for them to have publicity. Seriously they didnt even go to the concert and made such comment.

First of all, I would like to know if ayu even danced for 30mins straight?
How many songs does she have to sing in order to dance for 30mins?
and did ayu danced those amount of songs in the concert straight? without: a)go off and change clothes
b)play clips, interludes in between
c)have ballads in between.

They dont even know what ayus concerts are like. Did they just assume she dances and sings songs one after another like typical concerts? Not everyones concerts have the same format. Ofcourse its hard to dance and sing for 30mins and still full of breathe. But there is such thing as training. Just because those old farts think its not possible doesnt mean its impossible.

Ayu included interludes, clips, dancers solo performances, extended melodies from the song, to give herself more time to change, and to give her voice a little rest. Sing some fast paced songs in the beginning, have ballads after that, and more fast paced songs after and with all those interludes, clips, etc in between. Also majority of the fast paced songs are ones she did in all if not in most of her concerts. She is used to singing them. Does she need to lip those? I dont think so.

Ayu doesnt have perfect vocals when singing live, sometimes she go off key or forgets lyrics...so I really dont understand why she would be accused of lip synching...and is it not possible to have good singing once in a while? cant the HK concert be one of those times?

Gigi Leung does very well in TW - she's quite well-loved because of her sweet looks. Anyway Eason has stated that he will no longer talk about this matter (probably upon the advice of his whole staff team as he created such a PR disaster), so I guess let's forget it...

As for Grasshoppers...I wish them bad album sales and bad concert sales for the rest of their non-existent career.

Sorry to interject into your debate, but I must agree. Eason may be a respected canto artist in HK, but outside of it no one really cares because of 1) cantopop's low appeal and 2) his preference for singing mellow/ballad songs.

This just seems like a big publicity stunt to me. I simply don't see why someone who admitted he slept through most of the concert feels obligated to voice criticism about a show he saw very little of.

And wtf is up with Grasshoppers? Were they interviewed specifically about the incident? Their statement seems pretty random...

I highly doubt it. Most of Ayu's fans in the mainland don't care about Eason anyways and are fully supporting Ayu... and I don't think Ayu's HK fans are going to change their opinions just because he made that comment.
