He has 24/25y.o. and he wants to marry her? Isn't a little hasty for him? I mean, I doubt he had more than two serious relationships throughout his life (and less as a medical student), and is willing to marry when he knows her just a few months ago?

I dunno, sounds weird to me, not bad but weird.

after letting the news settle for a few hours.................... well I hope she's happy with this man and they can REALLY be happy in love. I still have some cynicism towards it but eh it's her life after all.

no matter what happens I'm still a big fan and she's still my #1 artiste. bring it on

I feel very weird about this.

BUT there are some differences between this relationship/marriage and the one with Mannie.
They've known each other longer and have dated longer, and she's not plastering his face all over her career. We've only supposedly seen him in off shot pictures with Christophe and his wife.

I'm wishing them the best, but it's hard to keep 100% hope seeings as how her latest relationships have gone.

Congratulation Ayu, I really hope this relationship stay longer, even forever. And I hope she can really find her love and happiness through this guy.

I'm gonna close my eyes from any cynical comments for awhile. Although I had that either.

I feel like I should be happy for her but I am still in shock. I would have preferred the 300+ new AHS posts at my login to have been about a new album or world tour.

Wonder what Ayu's thinking.... I bet she gonna divorce him in a few months time...

Did you guys realised that ayu never got pregnant in any of her relationships?? Nagase, mannie, maro etc.... This shows that she took a lot of precautions, and having a baby would mean that she won't be able to break up with them so easily... Perhaps her relationships are just planned for a purpose, to gain some attention etc... And once something is achieved, she'll call for a break up..

Do you really think the only reason to take precautions is that you know you will devorce your boyfriend anyway?

Couples that really love each other don't have to get a baby (right away or in their whole relationship).....

And also she has a great job that she maybe want to continue without having a child.

I really don't get your opinion

Clearly those stunts hurt more than helped her, so your little theory is sort of null. Marriege in Japan isn't seen the same way as in the US/other places.
