After reading 20 pages....i went to watch the performances..
(decision, SURREAL, TW..., glitter, STEP you, Ladies Night, t2m, MY ALL) OVERALL: I think her vocals were ok actually. I mean, im pretty used to the way she has been singing now..(the not perfect way)..so i wasnt really fussed about that, knowing that DVD will be better...the costumes were ok..the stage was very cool... !!!!!!!:::::: to me, i think there was something wrong with Ayu's voice that night to begin with...she sounded rather deep and husky even when she was talking...i think there really is something else about her voice/throat...its just deeper than usual overall...and when she doesnt focus, it gets off..i think thats the prob decision: this performance would have been gd if not for the BG singers...(wth were they singing...they sounded sooo freaking off-pitch...) omgg.. SURREAL: it was normal in the beginning, but towards the end it started to stray and yea, it was rather off sometimes...but i think it was still ok...her voice was really deep though... TW...: OMG i was soo blown away...it was awesome! she really gave it her all in this one..very dramatic (which is why i love this song so much)...her vibrato was controlled and not over...and holding on to the last notes of "arigatouette" and "aishiterutou" were simply BEAUTIFUL...whether or not recorded, it just looked and sounded DAMN gd glitter: the verse were gd..and normal...but during the chorus, when she gets hyped..it became to sound weird..and she missed some words?.. i think focus is impt.. STEP you/Ladies Night: I read about the pre-record thingy so i watched...i dunno wad to comment other than, it sounded gd and thats all that matter actually..and SHE LOOKED SOOOOOO CUTE! for Ladies, yea, her voice during the Ladies. Nighhhhhtt part was too deep..otherwise, it was a nice one too...i like the dance t2m: This has got to be one of her best perfs of this song..and yea, it was rather soft i think...(i watched the CDTV wan)...but it was still ok...at least she could do it (at least for me).. MY ALL: It made me want to cry with her...She cried since the beginning of the song so i cant blame her for the vocals...her emotions brought it away...and like i said, i really think there was something wrong with her voice that night...when she said "1,2,3" it just didnt sound like chirpy Ayu...her voice was indeed deeper the whole time... so...of course, i think her left ear plays an impt role in her vocals...coz she cant really hear herself in such a big place with so many people... but i have faith in her

after watching her together when... performance, i get the message that she want to say..remember in A-MUSEUM, she perform M with that catwalk and walking from back to the front with wedding dress, i think maybe she want to get married someday with tomoya...but right now...she did it again singing while walking on the catwalk from back to the front but the different is she sing together when... and not using a wedding dress...i think there is a meaning behind it...together when...is like a break up song...hope you get what i want to say...

anyway... after watching "untitled ~ for her ~" performance..
i think that ayu was like saying something at the end of the song..when she looked up to the ceiling.. she must had said some thing to the above... did anyone notice?

I didn't have time to watch this live tour after I had downloaded it. I was waiting it for a long time cause my connect was so stupid (slow). before I watched this one, a hateful guy of my forum had said something stupid about it. I logged in ayunite forum to read what he mentioned.. I noticed theme and watched this live tour. after finishing watching it, what I noticed has no problem. this live tour is so great. at first, I really don't like Ayu's voice in SURREAL but after that when heared Bold & Delicious, I know why Ayu's voice in SURREAL had to like that!! Ayu always tries Ayu's best to bright the best things to us. I love Ayu!! and after all what I want to say, truehappiness said in post #1. thank you :X:X:X

just finished watching it...
ayu performance sure looks different, like something goin on in her head...like she is thinking about something and a lot of problem face her life... but i enjoy this concert very much... i laugh when see the outro part of ladies night, chisa expression is really funny!!! MY ALL move is really slow...so its hard to follow it the learning session is fun though... shu-ya hug subaru in MY ALL!!! hahaha...subaru still my fav ayu dancer...he looks great...and ayu new dancer is great too..i think becky is the youngest... its just really hurt watching this concert, especially after know the fact about her left ear...i feel really sad, i'm affraid about a lot of thing..ayu is just too special for me...!!!

i think it was a pretty good concert. the stage was amazing, avex really stretched the budget this year for the 10 year. the costumes were also great and i dont think i disliked any of them. i think the best performance was Ladies Night, the dancers really made that the ultimate performance of the concert. i liked the fated/together when performance also. shuya is a great dancer and its nice to see hes doing the solos recently. nice lil transition after fated when he leaves the stage. ayu is faced away while he does this, she turns and looks for him only to see he is gone. then, what do you know, the next song is together when hehe. her other new songs from GUILTY like glitter & my all were performed well in the sense that they can possibly be new concert staplers in the future.
the performances of her old songs were mainly good. i was really disappointed by her SURREAL performance. since it is one of my fav songs from her i was really pumped to see it in the tracklist but her voice was really off, it got worse towards the end of the song, and no dancers! the dance to SURREAL is really cool (if u see in CDL 05-06 & AT 05) and its a shame it wasnt performed. other than that i do not think she struggled as much as some people say, or i dont think she struggled much at all. sounded a bit different from her recent concerts, but i think she generally sang most of her songs well. Best of CDL 06-07 was my favorite CDL before this and i think this one ranks up there also. dunno if i would rank it higher than the 06-07 concert, but i was very pleased with it. i noticed in recent years, the more concerts ayu holds, the more touchy-touchy she gets with shuya! it just keeps going at an increasing rate! i still bet big bucks they will hook up someday in the future lol

Aww, poor Ayu, she sounds pretty terrible most of the time. =/
But RAINBOW and Together when... were really good I think! SURREAL was a total fail.  I was skipping it quite some, I really tried to not to in the beginning, but it really wasn't her best show. I enjoyed it anyway! Thanks Ayu, I love you.

I watched the concert yesterday. overall the vocals were sorta iffy, but to me a concert is more about being entertained. If I want to hear perfect vocals I'd listen to the album
 ...SURREAL perfomance made me cringe tho, it was so bad. the audience was very into to it tho, I liked the crane part. MY ALL was really nice to, probably a new fan favorite for tours? definitely feels fresher compared to "boys & girls"

I had high expectations for this CDL.
I got the phone call on the 30th from my boyfriend (hilarydufffanboy) who attended the show and he gave me the full low down. it sounded great. anyway he finally gave me the TV version today (only got back from europe on monday, hadnt had time to download...) and i watched it all. i'm impressed with the new stage. Love the new costumes. I like the setlist too (though i'm guessing this means there will be few GUILTY songs in the next tour...) but her voice is just off. SURREAL was pretty bad IMO. RAINBOW was a bit poor and i didn't like how she did the countdown in the song, that just wrecked it for me. STEP you was bleh and Ladies Night was fun but again her voice wasn't that good. I skipped the last three songs in the show... and i also skipped Humming + MY ALL. I'm just really sad about her voice... i'm sure it's because of the ear which can't be helped, but that's what makes this show not as good for me, though it still is my favourite CDL at the moment. the stage will be used for this year's ASIA TOUR i'm sure, i just hope there will be more surprises in stall for us~~ and i hope no more ballad song on the platform with dancers around it !!!!! and a longer encore. oh yeah. ps. Peco + Princess' mics need to be turned down : P

when your there live - the vocals are properly leveled - its just that the broadcaster has only limited control over what they recieve on the night. thats why peco and princess sound a bit louder.
also ayu has never re-used a stage setup for her concerts, she has used elements of the stageing, but never has she just used the same stage. freedreamer: how can you skip MY ALL? haha how did you practice the dance? O_O

CDL 06-07 and ASIA TOUR 2007 have the same stage. It's almost identical to ARENA TOUR 2005 too. AT06 was slightly different with a plane theme and more relying on the huge moving screens which i love. i love the lights on that concert actually.
Though it's the same tricks every time. Cages for NEVER EVER > 1 LOVE. Ballad platform for Moments > Pride > part of Me. etc etc etc.

It's been a while since I've been on an Ayu forum. I had the chance to go to Japan for the holidays and I even got lucky and got tickets to see her Countdown show. It's probably my first and last show I will ever see of Ayu but every single minute of it was awesome! Her singing was great and I got some pretty good seats too. I dunno what else to say but I am just glad that I had the opportunity to see her live after listening to her music for over 7 years.
I've watched her past CDL shows with the same impression that her singing wasnt gonna be that great, but she hit all her notes and her voice was perfect. She did have to wear some ear pieces though, that she had to keep readjusting during the show they they always fell off.
