I don't think they are actually bandaged. I thought those were lacy finger caps...a sort of glove thing.

People...
Old video with happy Ayu + dog Recent video with sad Ayu + no dog Conclusion = Dog is gone There is no big mystery here... Didn't Maron got cancer or something recently? Last edited by Andrenekoi; 14th July 2010 at 09:45 PM. |

It was explained that the scenes with Ayu and the dog were to be filmed as though a loved one had filmed them.
Basically, the PV is about a lost love and the dog was just there to make the scene a bit more realistic. I think Ayu said she wanted to have the dog there so she'd look more "joyful" or something. So it seems that someone who Ayu loved quite a bit has left her for whaever reason in this video, and she's sort of just feeling broken because of it. The dog didn't disappear... and it'd be weird if the dog was there when she was depressed or whatever.

What truehappiness said about it being filmed by the lover who is now gone makes more sense and was what I'd think everyone would assume immediately.. Quote:

It was boring and when the oil was dripping on her head she was just staring out, unblinking...it was weird.

Considering Ayumi has ayupan figures for her dogs and how much love she shows for them, I wouldn't be surprised at all, even if I find it to be very pathetic

But like, I respect whatever you view this PV as, and of course PVs don't always equal the song's message, but this song is about two lovers and the anguish of one of them... There had to have been someone behind the camera sharing that lovely time with her, like with BoA's Eien PV, so it's an obvious past-present happy-sad comparison, even if the dog isn't in the present part. I don't think she would've gone so dramatic with it to make it about her dog.

I absolutely loved it. Beautiful PV; I really really hope it's a trilogy...I'd LOVE for there to be a continuation
![]() I thought the scenes with ink were like...the ink dripping on the paper was like, a leak, right? So maybe the ink dripping on Ayu was like a leak in her heart caused by the loved one filming the Cocoa scene leaving or dying, or whatever happened to them? And perhaps then the trashed house represents her breaking heart? Or...am I just digging for conclusions...? ![]() |

I think it's boring.
![]() The ink part was cool, but that didn't necessarily save the PV for me.

Not her best. I believe it was partially the directors fault though. As I had posted ina different thread, it seems very habitual of this director to have sort of "shock" endings, while the beginning of the PV is filled with sort of... "regular" scenes.
For instance, in DLB, the same thing happened where there was no story movement for the first 2 minutes, just ayu sitting there. The ink scene is similar to the destroyed scene in DLB. I personally dont see myself watching this video over again ![]() |

I don't get why people think that it's boring
![]() A PV ia a PV, not a short film/movie (even though it can be one). Must every PV have a story with a blatant narrative? Must a story always have a lot of scenes with over-the-top sets and movements? There's always something called artistic appreciation. I got a feel of older Ayu here, somewhere from (m)u to Memorial Address, which I think was a period of some of her best PVs, so yep, I love this PV. I loved the ink dripping down on her, I wonder what that stuff is made of 0.o I got the impression that the long-haired Ayu is like the white paper with the ink dripping on it. Like someone said, maybe it's her emotions overflowing and engulfing her till she's in ruins. |

I've just watched the full PV like a minute ago
![]() and i think it's not as boring as most people said, it's pretty good IMO... I love those vintage props she used for the setting, but the mud scene is a bit scary >.< her dog is just so cute! this PV is like Moments+Marionette+forgiveness (the mud scene) so yeah, i love it! ![]() sorry for my messy english... XP
