Probably because it was an 'accident'.

Usually they have dates where they can being releasing information officially and can't really do it any earlier than that. It's why when we get news after getting obscure "NEW SINGLE / THEME SONG!!!" updates for weeks, they say "information ban has been lifted!" or something like that.

5 releases next 5 months, fans will need to save up money.
Specially if they released super expensive tea/cookie/glass/mug/fork/spoon/make-your-picnic versions xD
