What a ****ing masterpiece, really. Lana said that it would be about "her ride to fame". I think that the guys in the video are old because Lana herself had relationships with older men (you can see this often in her lyrics in lines like "You can be daddy" in Ride, "My old man is a bad man" in Off to the Races, and others in her unreleased songs) . I would love it to be a full movie, or even a novel. She writes beautifully, also

I love Ride, it's a stunning song, I am so excited for the Paradise EP now. The video is really great too, I would say it's her best, but I love National Anthem more.

I love the video...I kinda wish I liked her style better. But it might grow on me. I have weird, mixed feelings about her music. And really, my favorite part was the interlude. But I kinda don't even care because this video just said so much that I always wanted to say, and I totally broke down in tears.

I definitely agree. I'm so tired of seeing 20-something male models with no personality play love interests in music videos. I really liked that she went in a new direction, and I really liked the message as well...

I didn't mind the old guys in Ride MV at all. She has also mentioned in This Is What Makes Us Girls something about "dating senior guys". Her songs of BTD era are about her personal life, and I love it how she shows that in her music videos. She really should write a movie handscript. I would totally go watch a movie written by Lana if it's similar to these music videos she has released so far. I love her style.

And I miss those H&M CMs on TV. They stopped airing those a while ago and it annoys me so much. I hope she does more at some point because those CMs were beautiful.

Lady Gaga collaborates with Lana Del Rey on her new album.

Apparently it's on the track she's been singing all the way through her latest tour - Princess Die. There will be two versions, one as a duet with Lana, and one with Lady Gaga singing solo. Interesting! I can't wait, both of these are my favourite singers..but they have such different styles.
