The CD only cover of TRUE LOVERS is the best cover I've ever seen.
And I'd like the LOVELAND covers more if not for the spaghetti and the heart-shaped glasses. Even if they would be just a "beauty shot". |

Miliyah looks gorgeous in Kamisama video! The small angel wings kind of reminded me of Ayu when I first saw it. This is the second (to my knowledge) PV and in a row that Miliyah has lesbian characters featured in her PVs, I wonder what has prompted her to include gay/lesbian theme in her imagery. Do lesbians in Japan have it harder than gay men? Or is it just an awareness issue?
Anyway, after hearing Kamisama in full, I have to say I'm really looking forward to her next album. I do agree the spaghetti photo would have been better as a promo pic rather than album cover. I stopped listening to her after HEAVEN, but since Lonely Hearts PV i have been interested in her again, and Kamisama is my current jam. The PV is also gorgeous. I wonder how she gets the high budget for her videos tho

I don't think they have high budget actually. the locations are very limited and there are not so much actors in it. I think the exectution is just done really really well, and I bet it is part due to her visions.

Also, I would like to ask you how would you translate the following sentences from Only U. These are the only ones that give me confusion. So any help would be welcome. "zutto ki ga au ki ga shiteta nita mono doushi de yasurai de" (I'm really counfused about the "ki ga au ki ga suru" and the whole last part) and "sekai wo kimi ga utagatte mo" (I guess this should mean something like "Even if you doubt the world" thought I'm not sure) Again, thank you for your efforts! |

ずっと気が合う気がしてた 似た者同士でやすらいで hey 好きなものも嫌いなものも同じで Only you save me I always felt like we'd get along We're two peas in a pod, I feel at ease with you, hey We both like and hate the same things Only you save me I guess the two ki's can be confusing  They're both set phrases:気が合う (ki ga au) = to get along well with someone; to hit it off with someone [...]気がする (ki ga suru) = to have the feeling that […]; to feel that/like [...] 似た者同士 = people who are alike/similar; people who are like two peas in a pod. (it's a combination of 似た者 (nitamono; people who are similar) and 同士 (doushi; companion) 安らぐ (yasuragu) = to feel at ease; to feel secure I'm not 100% sure about the 'yasuraide' part either. I think it's the -te form of the verb 'yasuragu' and it's meant like 'the fact that we're so similar makes me feel at ease.' 世界を君が疑っても 私だけ ただ信じて 'Even if you distrust the world Trust only me' It's like you said. 'utagau' = to distrust something or someone'. The 'something' is 世界(sekai) because it carries the 'を (wo)' particle.
