"Think of you..." sounds like an imperative (encouraging/forcing an action), she should have used "Thinking of you...".
*grammar nazi*Lovely pictures, though. The food one looks delicious, chow mein noodles and grilled meat my translators tell me.

well, english isn't her first language...
if you dont use it everyday (and she has no reason) i'm sure she has forgotten some things since 2010/11 |

whats wrong with walking proud?
are you talking about lyrics in the song or just the title? |

lyrics are beautiful, but it should be walking proudly.

Do you mean my names WOMEN?

I think by using "WOMEN" she just wanted to make clear that she's speaking for women in general in this song and not just specifically for herself as a woman.

Oh seems Timmy is in London, I hope Ayu follows him but she probably won't. O/T but I noticed he tweets a lot of nice things to AHSers that met him when Ayu was here, that's really sweet of him.

really?
I took it more as I am walking proud... you cut out the I am part and its something like a direct translation. you know its her doing it so the I am part is not needed. |

^ really? it just sounds so off to me because it implies an action...

I think both are grammatically acceptable.
Like for example "He stood proud over the corpse of his enemy" < - the guy is feeling proud Or "He stood proudly over the corpse of his enemy" < - the guy is standing in a proud manner..maybe with his hands on his waist and his head high~ Last edited by ExodusUK; 5th January 2013 at 08:32 PM. |

I think if its in a sentence it sounds better as proudly, but just saying walking proud is just as good.
