people need to chill! i am also for her privacy, but i'd love to know if her image changes. however, seems like she realized that she can set it to private so she did. None is neglecting that she's a human being even if she's a celeb.

im not a fan of her private life just that its there publicly expose on her Fb so yeah, but now she changed it to private then its good for her

^ it's not your fault nadia, ayu should have had put her personal facebook account in private setting, lock it up, so fans wouldn't see anything she posted, and only her friends could see. like i said before, she said it's her personal facebook, but she didn't make it really personal bcoz fans/anybody still can see and read what she's posting.

that's good that now she has realized that.

with facebook contently changing, sometimes you have to re select your privacy setting, yet alone how confusing facebook can be for people who have the time to be on it all the time, and the more confusing it can be for someone who only uses there page sometimes. But to be honest, they say if you want something private, facebook is the worst to post it with how there rules always change

I also hoped that fans won't be all over her personal facebook... ugh.

People just don't get that she doesn't want to talk to people who are not her family/personal friends/co-workers in her off time. and it's perfectly a normal wish from her and that goes for whoever who met her personally as well for when she was signing or taking pics - you are still fans.

She looks awesome in that pic btw, that hair is gorgeous.

Her friends that started tagging her in photos, letting her fans know she had a private page need to be told off for doing so. But the fans who commented and hit Like on photos when it was clear it was private aren't much better.

But it's too late now, she deleted her page. So thanks many stupid fans, Leslie, Ryan, Christophe and Mie for not even letting her have a private Facebook page to enjoy.

I would of thought when celebrities made a Facebook, they'd get lots of help in making sure it was private...she got found out it was actually her within mere days of her using it, despite the many fake "Ayumi Hamasaki"'s on Facebook - plus her profile picture was her butt? I don't know, I think she did all of this in a pretty naive way and if she wasn't sure about who could see her information she should of asked someone who did. I'm sure many of her colleagues use Facebook and would of been more than happy to help. It's easy to make your profile fully private.

I'm surprised AVEX staff didn't go over it with her when she had to admit on TA that it was her profile. She's allowed her privacy but as a celebrity, she unfortunately cannot take it for granted that everyone will understand. Fans get excited and obviously so did her friends. It's the downside to being a celebrity that unfortunately no one can change. I feel that she's probably got another Facebook with a fake name and will probably be a little more careful at being anonymous on such a popular social site.

It's a shame of course that she couldn't be Ayumi Hamasaki, but I don't know what else she expected. As a celebrity, it's just not possible. I don't think it's constructive to start blaming the fans since people just got excited, and did not mean any harm.

I think Ayu herself mentioned this topic in a famous interview, when she said although her and her friends and family see the two seperate parts of her clearly - "Ayumi" and "Ayumi Hamasaki" - the fans do not, she will always be "Ayumi Hamasaki" the celebrity to them, and she's come to understand that. I think it was when she was talking about the huge crowd that formed when she publicly went shopping for jeans? I can't remember.

People shouldn't expect all the fans to be as mature as they might be. It's sad, but it is expected and thinking otherwise is a bit naive. As somewhere out there, there will always be a 13 year old kid who thinks they can be friends with their idol on fb...

I always thought those 'official' accounts were run by some manager or something. That it's actually Ayu's own account is quite interesting actually.
