Ayu's sleep - she's used to not sleeping much. She can probably function on 4-5 hours sleep. The amount of sleep people need depends from person to person. Ayu's been sleeping like this for a long time so she's used to it.
And anyway, I don't know what the big deal with TA members being upset over Ayu having a twitter. As far as I know she can't post any blogs on twitter. So she's always going to need her TA blog. I guess it might have been the pictures they were more worried about. Do her TA members have no idea how easily stuff from there leaks onto English forums? lol @ the warning, was that in relation to her "communicating with English fans" on her Twitter? |

I understand where she's coming from. I can't be upset with an angel who is doing every thing she can for ALL of her fans. Giving her that book in London made it impossible for her to ignore us so she made a twitter so she could connect with us and look what happened with Jorge! The Japanese fans may be a little jealous but she can't just say to them tough cookies I'm giving all my attention to my international fans this time because you all have these perks lol. She has to please both sides.

I may be upset if we didn't get her TA diaries anyways, thanks to Misa-chan and all the other TA members here.
Honestly those of us on AHS shouldn't be complaining because we get them anyways!!! ![]() Thanks for the translation! |

They just have to understand that as of right now, it is the only way for us to communicate with Ayumi. They have the chance to see her every single year. Us international fans have to work harder and save big bucks to afford a plane ticket on top of good seats. Not to mention the language barrier, etc. |

I think its more about the TA members paying. If her blogs were accessable for free, I doubt they'd care just because she's paying attention to her international fans.

@Keiichi_JPU: There are 2 types of memberships at TA. For those who are just interested in ticket preorders and special gifts, they can just join the cheaper membership of 4,000yen. The people who pay the extra 2,000yen do so just for access to her TA site and blog. So yeah, if she starts sharing these things out for free on Twitter, people are definitely gonna get angry.
And it's true, when people share anything from her special TA site, such as these blog entries, it's at our own risk. Because it is not free material, and copyrighted to boot. I'm a little more thick-skinned because I'm not a native, but you can see that people like oji-i-san won't be sharing these things. It's because if we ever get found out, we can get into very serious legal trouble if avex decides to persecute us. So yep, bottomline is, TA is not free material, and people do get upset when TA-limited stuff gets leaked like this. @Tony_G: no, the warning was because I was sure some people will start badmouthing the Japanese fans when they read this entry, like calling them selfish and stuff.

Nya I felt a bit upset when I read=(. If I were an artist I would love my fans the same way no matter the nationality. Anyway, I would love an International TA =D I'd pay 60 dollars a year (5 dollars a month =O) to get special stuff. I pay more only with shipping and even more with international tax of my country -_-'!
Anyway, as long as she keeps her Twitter I'm happy =D. I hope someday she reply me ^^

ah~~, my name is mentioned? ^^;
well, I'd recommend you all to join the TA if you can afford US60$ + some extra. How you can join it is in the thread aura~ kindly made in the chat room. I personally recommend AHS to have these TA blog threads in the chat room or somewhere so that only registered AHS members can read them. (In other words, so that search engines and people in avex will not find them.) Ayu and Avex are very careful about what information should be provided and through what media it should be provided. So, I think it's better for AHS members to be careful about such things as well. anyway, as a native japanese, I feel unhappy if AHS members are bad-mouthing japanese fans. J-fans are not bad-mouthing foreign fans at all, i believe. They're just saying they feel that the distance between Ayu and her/himself is getting bigger when they recognize ayu gets more and more fans. I think everyone can understand this feeling. And needless to say I really appreciate Misa-chan taking her own risk of losing TA membership and doing this very very hard task of translating J to E for the international fans. ![]() ![]()

Hmm... Did she start a twitter because of the "A World Is One" book? So she would never have a Twitter in the first place if it wasn't for those fans in London? O: Gasp.

at first when i read this message it kind of hurt my feelings honestly. it kind of made me feel like some kind of evil foreign fan who doesn't deserve the same kind of access to ayumi that japanese fans have. after i thought about it, i don't think ayumi meant it that way. i do understand that fans in team ayu should get some really great benefits that no other fans have, otherwise what is the point of them paying? i think the mistake that avex and/or ayumi is making is in not opening team ayu up to foreign fans as well. perhaps there is a reason why though, i'm not sure. as far as ayumi knows, foreign fans have no access to her team ayu blogs, so she wouldn't think we could read those messages anyway. if she really legitimately wants to connect with us as well, i'm sure there is a better way of doing it than sending us a few twitter messages. and if she is on twitter for us, then why are most of her messages in japanese?
but i'm not complaining at all. i think its amazing that thru a world is one, ayumi finally recognizes her international fan community. i remember years and years of being an ayumi fan where the only news we really got was big announcments like a new single or album. in the past we never had updates of ayumi's day to day life, what she was thinking or doing at any particular time. months would go by with no news or anything at all. so compared to that, we live in an ayumi golden age!!! also, i really appreciate those members here who translate TA messages for us. without you, we wouldn't have this amazing access. i do agree with oji-i-san though, perhaps we should be a little more careful about where these messages are posted. couldn't we have a members only forum for them???

I'm very happy now we can read her TA blog and happier when she tweets (thanx for sharing)
In twitter, Ayu doesn't share too much, she just simply rep some question (funny or stupid question)... she of course know the limit, rite. And the last I don't think they even not know English to read our mess =.= so why they still complain about it? I can't understand!

"Twitter just gives me a chance to talk to foreign fans in English, and that makes me happy."
![]() I agree, Japanese fans would be wondering what the point of paying for TA would be if twitter is basically the same thing content wise... :p This post makes sense! I'm not angry.
